Chuy’s at The Rim in San Antonio, near 6 flags, was a quick stop.
We ordered fajitas for two and we were four. The serving was more than sufficient for all to have their fill.
The hot sauce is HOT laced with jalapeños and they do not offer a mild sauce.
That was a bit of a disappointment since we do not enjoy flaming hot spice.
The service was friendly, but somewhat chaotic in the sense that the server was inconsistent and showed up randomly – for example would serve and then be back at the table 30 seconds later and then disappear for extended time.
Or another waiter would step in only to return that he had informed our server.
Food was served but we were not provided utensils. Utensils were then provided but no napkins. And again another waiter would stop by only to inform he had told the main server that we wanted napkins instead of resolving our need.
Food was satisfactory but not anything to rave about.
And since the hot sauce was too spicy for us we did not enjoy the tostadas.

Absolutely loved my visit here. The food was delicious!!! I had a enchiladas w/ green chile sauce and a double side of rice and I really enjoyed it. We also had the chuy changa w/ rice and Beans and then there was a fajita like bowl as well. The portions are definitely worth the cost and we enjoyed every bite. I will definitely be going again. But to put a cherry on top our server was very nice and accommodating. I really appreciate that

I always enjoy Chuy’s. The quality and consistency doesn’t change. I had the Comida Deluxe which is a LOT of food. The guacamole is quite tasty and the enchiladas and sauce are excellent. The green chili Mexican rice was a bit bland, but good. I rarely eat the refried beans. I’m just picky about beans. Most restaurant beans taste canned to me and I prefer my own. Not saying Chuy’s are canned, maybe it’s just me. The chips and salsa hit the spot. Not tasteless, but spicy enough for a little zing. The service was excellent, as usual. I will definitely visit again when I’m in the neighborhood.

Came here today for a business lunch. We had a huge party and everybody was so nice and accommodating. I really enjoyed my lunch. I had the beef fajita tacos on flour tortillas. Next time I’m in the area I will definitely be returning.

Haven’t been in a chuys since 2018. That being said, I was hoping for the flavors and food of old, what I got was fajitas that had steak and chicken that must’ve been cooked on Monday and reheated in the microwave. The sauted peppers, onions. Seriously the cook needs to understand you dont saute them into mush, they are supposed to be a mix or tender yet crisp. Who put the dallop of sourcream right on top of the cheese instead off to the side with the guacamole. Totally disappointed. Will never walk into a chuys again. Honestly yall are as far from TexMex as Greenland is to Italian……..

Overall, it was okay.
We went in on a hot summer day for lunch and we could tell the restaurant was short staffed. Our waiter was very apologetic for the long wait for the food but we understood. However, the food was a tad bit overcooked and dry but the drinks were refreshing.
Having said that, we will give them another chance.

I was meeting a group of friends at Chuy’s for lunch. We entered, requested a table for 6 people, and were promptly seated.
Our server was Jesse, and he took very good care of us. His customer service skills were very good, professional, and he knew the menu real well. He refreshed waters, chips, etc. in a timely manner.
I ended up ordering the custom enchiladas. I requested the beef in my enchiladas, and then I ask for the chili concarne sauce for the topping. I added some pictures.
Overall, we had a good visit, good food choices during the lunch hour and it was very quiet, and so it was easy to talk. Parking was easy to find, as it’s right in front of the restaurant and free. Like I said, Jesse did a good job waiting on our table.
I hope that if you decide to visit that your experience is as good or better than mine.

First time at Chuy’s, never tried before because I am not really into Tex-Mex food. My couple and I were craving burritos and our expectations were low. The place has great ambience, it is very clean and the service provided by Taranee was excellent. The burritos that we ordered were delicious. They have several options of salsas (they are really good)I recommend the tomatillo with sour cream. Overall we had a great experience. We would definitely como back!

Jackie is a beast of a bartender elite tier, coming from a decent bartender in myself. She’s efficient, personable, and moves with extreme poise. Sitting at the bar with her has been the ray of happy that I needed on an otherwise mid morning. Ask for Jackie, she is now my go to.
