Chuy’s is a favorite place when we visit Indianapolis. The atmosphere is vibrant, fun – not overly fancy, and the food is good. The chips and salsa that come for the table are unique, very thin and crispy chips, definitely a favorite with the creamy jalapeno.
So this visit I tried something I’ve never had at Chuy’s before: taco salad with fajita chicken. In some ways, this is a straightforward salad, exactly what you might think. However, it was bright, crisp, and chicken was not overcooked. Nice size, this was a refreshing meal.
Sometimes you don’t need anything unique, just good food the way you expect it. Nice.

Stopped in here for lunch, different taste buds here. I didn’t really care for the salsa, compared to what I’m used to eating, but you will have to be the judge for that. They have alot to choose from on their menu. The service was excellent, and it’s a nice restaurant, with plenty of seating, and parking outside.

Pretty disappointing. I’d been wanting to try Chuy’s as I enjoy TexMex occasionally. The food was fine, but only just fine. The service was truly horrible. Among the worst I’ve experienced, frankly. Slow as can be. Never checked on us. Drinks never refilled, and my drink was wrong anyway. To leave, I had to go to the bar to find a person to help us get the server’s attention for the check. There wasn’t really anything about Chuy’s that would bring me back.

Forgot my queso. No caramel sauce. Greasy chips. Then I sat in the curbside waiting after I indicated that I arrived for 15mins. I ended up having to call and the young girl came out with an attitude. I immediately got upset that I decided to leave a 20% tip. Service sucks here. Food is thrown together. They will end up closing this location.

Very disappointing we had chicken fajitas which can be described as one step above Taco Bell. Food arrived quickly but not in a good way. The chicken was precooked like Tyson’s Chicken strips and over chard. The the jalapeno Ranch dip was good but nothing authentic no chunks of jalapenos just some powdered mix.

I have given this place more chances than it deserves. Good chips, salsa and margaritas but service is always bad and food is just passable. Last night waited an hour and half for our food order for 2 kids and 2 adults. Had to take it to go when it finally came out.

Just had our son at the hospital wife wasn’t feeling hospital food. I let her pick anywhere she wanted she picked here. I sat at the bar and had a drinking while waiting for our to go order. chatting with the amazing bartender sadly I do not remember her name. They even threw in an amazing congratulations cake thing that was supper good! Good food good service good atmosphere all around a great place would recommend 10/10

Had a good experience at this Chuy’s for lunch. The service was good! The food tasted great. They do a traditional arrzo con polio but it’s not clear on the menu. Everything tasted great, especially their chips are my favorite! Good atmosphere and we had attentive service from the staff.
