My wife had the Chutney’s Mixed Grill—came out sizzling like it knew it was about to be the star of the table. I went with the lamb chop masala, and wow… tender, rich, and paired perfectly with a warm onion kulcha. That sauce alone is worth the trip.
Prices are fair, portions are solid, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. We noticed they’re now offering a weekend lunch buffet—definitely planning to come back and check that out.
Round 2! Went back 2 weeks later! We truly enjoy the food and atmosphere, they play old Bollywood songs and the staff are attentive and friendly! If you have leftovers they neatly pack the leftover food for you right at your table! How nice!
My new favorite Indian spot! 10/10.
I’ve eaten at hundreds of thousands of restaurants across the country for decades, and at Chutneys for around 3 years.
Chutney is the only restaurant that consistently blown me away with their food and quality. The Makani Paneer and Butter Chicken Tika Masala is just incredible! The waiters are also very friendly.
This is a HIDDEN GEM!! Come eat here, you won’t be able to turn back!
The food is flavorful without being overly spicy, and the menu has a nice balance of North and South Indian options. The butter chicken and lamb vindaloo are both standouts, and the garlic naan is soft, buttery, and addictive. They also do a great job with vegetarian dishes—the paneer tikka masala and chana masala pack a ton of flavor.
Service is usually quick, prices are reasonable, and portions are generous. For anyone craving authentic Indian food in Columbia, Chutney is easily one of the best picks around. Always a satisfying meal!
We started with papad, which were crisp, golden, with diffetent sauces
The dal tadka was simple yet hearty, with just the right amount of smoky tempering from garlic and cumin. It complemented the garlic naan, which was soft, slightly chewy, and generously brushed with butter and chopped garlic.
We also tried the vegetable biryani, which was aromatic and layered with spices—not overly greasy, and each bite had well-cooked veggies and perfectly fluffy rice.
Service was attentive and friendly, and the ambiance was cozy yet refined. Overall, I’d highly recommend Chutney Indian Restaurant to any vegetarian looking for an authentic and satisfying Indian meal. Each dish felt thoughtfully prepared, and the flavors were rich without being overwhelming.
Vibe: nice interior, on the more formal side. Friendly attentive staff
