First of all, let me say the sweet-and-sour shrimp was fantastic. The fried rice was really good. The flavor of the crab wontons was a little off. The service was great. Staff was extremely pleasant. Again sweet-and-sour shrimp was really good. Food was hot and fresh. Food came out extremely fast. Place is a little bit of a dive in one of the seedier strip malls in Gresham. For $12 it was a good value for my lunch. I’m full. Thank you Chu’s I will be back for lunch again someday.

The service was amazing, the waitress was awesome to have, however, this was the worst food I’ve ever ate.
And not only that, it was like $20 for mostly fried rice and it’s like cold and disgusting.

There were seven of us and we were seated at a round table with a lazy Susan in the center. It was excellent it made for a great way to pass the food without having to pass the food. Sadly I didn’t get a picture of that as everyone was still sitting there and I try to avoid getting people in the photos but I believe you will enjoy this restaurant!

Pre-Covid this use to be a reliable Americanized Chinese restaurant. Now it’s a huge red flag in every category. Service was semi-hostile, the soup was old slices of chicken in a water and mix with the texture of slime. The food was passable to inedible with the fried rice and chow mein fairing best. BBQ pork was chewy and inconsistent in color, while the friend shrimp was reheated in a microwave. The only positive were the crab puffs. Overall, not worth your time or money.

The table was sticky and I asked the waitress to please wipe it down. She refused. The egg flower soup was so thick and so slimy it felt like swallowing slug goo. I could not eat it. The restaurant was so empty I can understand why. The Rice dish was good but it’s hard to mess up rice. The crab puffs were all right. The shrimp was decent. The serving sizes are quite large. To feed 9 people it was only $50 bucks. The table kept rocking back-and-forth.

I ordered take out of mongolian beef, schezuan chicken and chicken chow fun and beef & string beans. Lemme say, these looked so good but tasted soooo bad. The chow fun noodles were badly undercooked – so hard and dry, The Mongolian and schezuan dishes were both very sweet (almost like teriyaki) these tricked my palette so bad. The only good thing was the beef and string beans (these were sweet too but it tasted more like I anticipated) This would be the only dish (beef & string beans) I could see myself ordering again but I wouldn’t go outta my way to visit. Each dish was about $18 each too

This restaurant has been around for years. Dinner prices have gone up. So, I typically go for lunchonly duringthe week. I enjoy the dinner Egg Role they serve but I pay extra for it. I posted some pictures to demonstrate the difference between egg role and spring role. I hope the images speak to the taste.
