Best store we have visited in the entire Southern California by far!
SERVICE: Impeccably Top Notch impressive with eye contact by every staff behind the counter, cashier repeats the order to ensure accuracy, informs customer how long the wait time in delivering the order, does not cut the customer off mid-sentence when asking for ALL THIGHS instead of legs and thighs mix. This is Customer Service at its finest!
Several customers walked in, smiling as they walked out with their bag of goodies – clearly satisfied with the service experience they received.
So we encountered some outside folks who came in the store to disrupt customers and solicit $$ for free lunch. This was the only time we saw the staff get protective of their store and the customers inside. The intruders were directed to leave and not bother the diners.
FOOD – well of course – Church’s chicken is excellent! Our original plan was to go to a Filipino restaurant or Jollibee, but when Church’s showed up in our search – that’s it, every choices dropped.
AMBIENCE: Surprisingly inside the 76 Gas Station but with its own separate entrance from the convenience store. It is quiet, clean, and pleasantly light, modern yet simple and straightforward.

Update. They do need to work on their online orders. I used it the first time today. Not good. People were vlocking thevpickup area. I got in line. Byt time i got up front, i could see my order had printed and was still on the printer at the register. Not great. I have been going to Church’s since I live in Texas. The best thing there is the biscuits and their apple pies. Both of which you can get icing on. Their biscuits put KFC and popeyes to shame. Their chicken is good. Not my favorite. But is is good. Their chicken sandwiches left me disappointed I hate to say. If you want a chicken sandwich, Popeyes is the way to go. Church’s get the fried chicken and biscuits and apple pie. I even go here just to get the biscuits and mashed potatoes and gravy and have them with Costco rotisserie chicken. Wow was that an awesome pairing.

This location is terrible. I found this location online. Their website stated it was open until 9:00pm. I drove to the restaurant at 8:20pm to find out the dining room closes at 8:00pm and the drive thru closes at 9:00pm. So I drove around to the drive thru only to hear the message, “thank you for your visit. we are currently closed”. Even though there was visibly at least 2 people inside working, they had already closed down the drive thru also with several cars driving up and having to leave without service. I find this being a terrible way to run a business.

I went to church’s chicken last night Carlos was very helpful and very sweet I appreciated his service. Customer service Jobs aren’t easy and he was doing his best it’s hard dealing with multiple personalities throughout the shift but he made it work with his kindness thank you.

I placed an order online..paid and everything. Got there and they told me that there’s no leg and thigh. Told me they can replace it with breast and wings. I said I guess..had no choice bcuz they don’t do refunds on online order! What?! That was news to me. But then the other worker said they are out of the breast and wings too. And I can sit and wait to see what is left over! Really?!! I order it online..so my order should have been done and sitting there for me to come pick it up! Why do I have to sit around to wait for it?! So lesson learned, don’t order online anymore. Cuz they won’t refund ur money back. Oh and they be lying too! One of the worker there (tall, brunette) said there’s a cancel order option on the app. So I logged in and checked. Nope! Nothing! So u can’t cancel ur order and they won’t refund ur money back. Even when it’s their fault. This place is a joke..don’t think I will be coming back anymore!

Church’s Special- 9 wings for $13.99 is a ridiculous scam! The wings are the size of a Cornish Hen with extra batter to attempt to make each piece look larger. You get 9 half pieces for $1.50 each!
