Ordered 12 piece meal to take home 25 miles away. Get home to overcooked little pieces of chicken. If you’re gonna sell such small pieces, adjust your cooking time. Nobody like dried out chewy chicken.

Do a survey and you get 2 pieces of chicken or 3 pieces of strips. I went up there with the review code. And they said I’d have to go to Bay City. They don’t do nothing at a small town. This is after the worker called a manager. What a joke never go back. The way they run the restaurant is pretty pathetic when the worker has to call the manager on the phone because each and every receipt has the same information on the back of it and they had never done it before then after talking to the manager says I have to go to bay city, what a joke.

Although the food and service were okay, I felt that the atmosphere inside was below standard. The windows look like they have not been cleaned in a very long time. The tile on the floor seemed Greasy and the tiles on the wall had some kind of white krusty stuff growing on them. Not very conducive to a sit down relaxing meal.

I decided to drop in at this Church’s today for a quick lunch at around 12:30pm.. The restaurant obviously has been there for a long time and is showing its age. I ordered a two piece meal, the chicken was so dry almost like jerky. Apparently it was left under heat lamps for a long time. I cannot believe the employees would sell such poor quality food. I will never go back to this place!!!

If I could put 0 on this review I’d definitely would they don’t deserve any positive number from me. I ordered 16 pc meal which 8 were supposed to be tenders and the other 8 were supposed to be regular chicken. I live an hour away and just happen to be that I work close to this CHURCHS so I order my food and expect everything to be packed into the box after having a long day from work. I get home and there’s missing pieces of chicken mind you the tenders look and taste horrible. I try to call for atleast an hour straight and no one bothers to pick up the phone so I can talk to someone about the issue. It’s ridiculous that this happened and definitely I DO NOT recommend this location.

Slow, waited more than 10 mins for service. Ordered a 2.49 spicy chicken sandwich…they wanted to charge 4.70. While I waited at pick up window for another 10 mins or more..with cars lining up behind me. Finally they gave me a cold regular chicken sandwich. Something needs to be done.

The employee at the window rolled her eyes when I made my order. She did not answer when I was at the menu board. This location does not know how to make gravy. I received a cup of white water not gravy. She rang up sauces for my meal but never gave them to me. Church’s corporate needs to be more strict with Franchisees!

There’s one thing I won’t go without and that church’s chicken.. Texan or otherwise…. As most of the, the place was empty (most people drive through). We ate in. Tables needing wiping… Serious mosquito problems inside dining and bathrooms.
The best part… The food. I can overlook a ton of things because the food has always been the same no matter what state I’m in… For decades. It’s always better than KFC, golden chick, raising cane’s, Bushes.
