Waited over 30 mins for a 20 tender meal. Was told they were waiting on the biscuits. I said to forget the biscuits & then was told waiting on a next batch of chicken. Several ppl went before & left. I had to go inside to check on the food. The gravy was gross. They guy was nice enough

I got the tenders combo the sweet tea and biscuit was good but the tenders were so hard and overcooked they couldn’t be eaten. I’ve gave up on chicken in Temple just can’t get good chicken anywhere that I found everyone has cooked the heck out of were it’s not eatable at all. But supper nice, tall Cashier and was friendly.

Ordered to pick up. Got there the doors were locked 2 ppl working and out of the tenders I ordered. Changed my order to chicken cause I already paid through website. Order was to come with 3 sides, coleslaw came in 3 small individual containers and half way full. Family size French fries were 2 large individual fries and not full. An extra 20 min wait. Staff at window seemed stressed and not friendly. Other ppl waiting as well while others drove off. Temple church’s is always bad service. Yes did survey

This is absolutely the worst Church’s Chicken that I’ve ever experienced don’t even use doordash with them because you’re not going to get any of your order and then they’re not going to want to replace it.. so don’t waste your time.

The food is good, the staff is amazing!! The manager however is rude, she drives around the restaurant over and over again through the drive through for whatever reason. Bullying the staff, while on her phone, When I had questions about ordering an 8 piece all legs, because I have kids, I made sure to mention the guy who answered the phone was incredibly sweet and kind, she stated “he can be sweet and kind all he wants but we won’t do all legs in an 8 piece” I let her know I didn’t want to get him in trouble, he had GREAT customer service. The manager is trashy. She has her headset on sitting in her car staring down customers as she parks and drives through the drive through over and over.

Food is good, the wait however not so much lately. Went last night (11/20/25) A gentleman was on the side making a sandwich & another worker noticed he was making the wrong one, tried to correct him so he didn’t hand out the wrong order. A new manager hollered at the poor little girl for her to get herself over there & make it for herself. Even if that was your own daughter working for you, you should still have the respect to know you are in front of customers. That lady manager had no right to holler at that girl (with glasses) & then to make her clock out. Management should have been the one that was sent home for an attitude adjustment. Now I see why they are constantly hiring. Come on Church’s get it together!!!!

I had to wait a little over an hour for my food. I couldn’t get to upset because the young lady Quita was doing cashier, drive thru, and DoorDash orders. There was another guy named Dre and another young man also couldn’t remember his name. They did not get frustrated no attitude they just did their jobs. and I know that’s what kept the customers waiting with out getting mad and upset. Those 3 did a great job and deserve reward for it!

The food is alright although there is often a wait for chicken. The mananger took my order then turned around without taking my money. Waited five minutes for her to tell another girl to do it she also went and unplugged the monitor for the drive thru like three times. I used to work fast food and know that is a timer. I don’t think she’s supposed to do that.

Where do I begin. The parking lot was completely filled, but, we were the only customers inside? We decided to go in because the drive thru was wrapped around the building. I waited at the counter for Nine Minutes before being acknowledged and another Five before being greeted. The orders were clearly visible on the screen, but, it seemed every one was in slow motion. I watched them drop food on the floor and walk over it. When I finally got to order, I asked for the 8 pc Shrimp Special and at first, he said they didn’t have a Shrimp Special. I pointed to the sign out front and jogged his memory. I’m not sure why, but, I was charged $2.00 more than what the sign said. I didn’t notice at the time. Then, I ordered a Lemon CheeseCake Fried Pie and as soon as I mentioned it, the Gentleman taking the Order said…”They Nasty”! I asked him why, but, he didn’t say why. So, $13.61 later, I got my receipt…which was Blank??? So, I waited patiently for another 15 minutes to get my meal. There was a really weird undertone to this whole visit. The Shrimp were over fried and obviously not cooked fresh to order, so, I’m not sure why it took so long to get served. To me the Customer Experience is as important as the Food and I wasn’t really happy with either. I didn’t notice till I was on the way out, but, the glass on the entry door was filthy! It will be a while…if ever, before I go back to the Church’s on 31st in Temple, Texas.
