I had 2 (9 piece) traditional wing combos. The pictures you see is the oil accumulated from both orders. Also, the corn was very slimy. It looks as though someone spit in it or something. I don’t know if it’s because I had an issue with the cashier or what but yeah won’t get my business again. I don’t even wanna go back to get a refund.

I went to church’s to purchase food for my family. I ordered a 10pc and Large Okra. It took them 30 mins to service me only for me to get my chicken and it was cold. I give it back and informed the cashier it was cold the manager caught an attitude and told me I had to wait 25 mins even though they had fresh chicken coming up. I asked the manager for her name so I can report her to corporate she ignored me on top of her not wearing a name tag which is part of her uniform that she did not have on

I asked and placed an order for Spicy chicken, the place was crowded busy, the staff was focused and moved ppl out expediently. I reached home and did NOT have Spicy. There’s nothing like craving something and the disappointment, plain is JUST not the same.

I recently visited this Church’s Chicken and I must say it was nothing like what I expected. The place was filthy—tables were messy and out of place, and there was chicken on the floor. A very dirty homeless man came in smelling strongly of drugs and was insistently begging, which made the experience even more unpleasant. The place felt extremely unsafe.
The only good thing was one cashier who was polite—the only employee with manners. The food was awful: the fries tasted bad, were burnt and basically empty, the meat was dry and greasy, and the mashed potatoes were almost like water.
I guess it’s due to the area it’s located in . I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone—better to drive a bit further and go somewhere with a better atmosphere, food, and staff.

12/19/25 today order food $50 plus get home my mashed potatoes was not in there. It’s always people in there charging their phones. I called no answer. I did not feel like going back up there, just got off work tired. I will not be going back there.

Good recommend here. Safe neighborhood then other areas. Buyer comes church Texas once in awhile. Aug 17th is part 2bday celebration order food here. My bday on 16th. Yes enjoyed fresh made foods here.
