This chicken spot used to be the best spot in Northeast Ohio for chicken. I understand covid had some issues with this place. The chicken itself is decent, but lets talk about the menu. Several items were removed and changed. This is the last one left in northeast ohio, and you guys used to serve honey butter biscuits, and they were the staple point of buying anything church’s related. But the biggest issue is everything doubled in price, for receiving less. It’s bad enough we cant even dine in. There’s no place to even sit to wait for your order. And it’s always busy. Regardless of having an app, it shouldnt substitute the human experience of going somewhere and getting food to feed the family, especially when there’s less menu items, lower quality substitutions, and a raise in price. When the rebrand happened, all that money spent on rebranding, all the cutbacks on locations, what should have happened was investment into expansion. I mean, who is your competitor? Popeyes? That place serves the driest chicken, and they have absolutely no regard for service. You guys actually batter it in house. Thats the difference. I just wish the momentum of what your brand means and represents, and who it effects, was considered for expansion instead of regression. Wheres my honey butter biscuits? Wheres my okra? What the hell? Now i get a bread roll that is flavorless, and dry. How is this a positive reinvention of church’s? This is my neighborhood, my chicken house. Im heartbroken

I ordered a 10 piece family meal and they said they can’t do it only online. So I ordered the 12 piece. I asked for mild and spicy, and a mixture of breast, wings and thighs, they gave me all thighs and drums. I specifically made sure to say it 5-6 times and verify they had the order correct. I waited 40 minutes and I drove 30 plus minutes to place the order. Once I alerted them that they messed up the order they told me to bring all the food back. I stated that I want to bring back the chicken and keep the sides. They told me to bring it all back or else no exchange even though it was their mistake. I would not recommend going here and the chicken was very bland and not good. Zero stars out of 5…

I’m from South Korea, and it was the best chicken I’ve ever had in the U.S. And the biscuits also were fantastic. I really enjoyed my meal properly. I strongly recommend!

Came into a line out the door. The young lady working tonight had a smile on her the whole time. She was very polite and helpful! The whole staff was great! They made sure everyone got what they ordered and it came out very fast! Incredible staff!! I will be coming back!!

We went yesterday and we live out in Rootstown which is 35 min away and it was what I wanted for my birthday. I love churches. There’s not one out here of course so these pics of ur overflowing food! Right, spent 50$ and everything was freaking half full!! The food was very good. Hot and fresh but not full portions! Also, very friendly and professional employees. Also, they need some chairs in there. They were busy and I had to go to the car for 20 min while I waited. Should be seats inside.

We ordered a 10 piece leg & thigh box with fried okra, biscuits & jalapeño peppers. The wait time was not long and the food was good and hot. I think all of the items were reasonably priced. We will definitely return here to try more items.

That’s a hard fast no. Hadn’t experienced Church’s since 1990. I can still taste the crunch juicy fresh hot chicken deep fried to a golden brown along with the sweet mouth watering fried peach pies whose boiling hot syrupy glaze would burn a eager tongue to the severity you could not taste anything for a week…welllll this recent trip was nothing earth shattering and instead underwhelming so I won’t be back…

The customer service was excellent despite some of the reviews I read (maybe they hired new staff). The food was hot and good, I have no complaints. I hope to have the same experience when I return.

Food was good , it’s the only Churches left in the city so the wait time can be long. I’ll order online if you’re in a rush.
