The workers looked mad and were very unprofessional and gave minimal effort. They were yelling and took 20 minutes to cook two sandwiches that were the size of a junior burger. The floors and walls were covered in dirt and some sort of black residue. It was also fairly hot with no a/c and with the fan filter covered in gunk and dust. The food tasted okay for what it was

Driving with my family from Florida to a funeral in Selma Alabama. We skipped multiple places to get to church’s to see a worker outside waiting for the opening manager to get the restaurant and let him in. I’m really disappointed in this church’s.

Unlike other reviews mine isn’t about the staff. The chicken was golden, crispy, and juicy BUT completely devoid of flavor. I asked for corn got none (went through drive thru), Mashed potatoes were fair but mostly devoid of flavor. I added butter and salt. The biscuits which I was looking forward too.. just kinda greasy and crunchy on the outside but most definitely no honey butter flavor. If this is representing Texas chicken I don’t know how you guys are open in this area.. when I say no flavor I mean none. Gave the chicken to my dogs and threw out my biscuit after 2 bites. Such a disappointment however the drive thru staff was courteous and asked about my day

Church’s has always been one of my favorite chicken restaurants but unfortunately we no longer have one in our area. I am always on the lookout when we go different places trying to spot one. We got lucky coming through this little town and I had the chance to fill the void I have from ours being closed. I have to say the biscuits didn’t disappoint in the least!! They melt in your mouth but the chicken tenders were a bit disappointing here. I got some very thin strips with not much meat so the juicy tender flavor I was expecting got replaced with some dried tough meat but I didn’t hold it against them as it was an off time of day and they had probably been under the heat lamp for a couple hours. I still had my biscuits to make me happy atleast lol

Wait for 30 minutes for food then found fries to be warm at best and still had to return to pick up sauces after asking for them two times. Does no good to ask for fresh fries when the rest of your order will be cold. By the time you receive them. At least we know don’t waste our money here.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would, terrible food. The okra tasted like it had been sitting out for days. Dry crusty, cold and burnt. The order was completely wrong, I ordered jalapeño poppers and got mashed potatoes and gravy. Chicken was the only thing that was cooked correctly, when I got home a checked the order o was in shock, there was also some weird foreign object fried in the food, no idea what it is. Kinda worried this place is unsanitary. Biscuits were hard and hours old. Please save your money and do not go here. They always take 30 minutes just to give you the order and it is always this way. Constant failure every time I try and think it’s going to be better. It gets even worse each time I go. No love and appreciation for food at this place. I tried calling the restaurant when I got home to get it fixed since I live 30 minutes from this place, you can’t ever get anyone on the phone. Will not be returning EVER.

I would not recommend this location at all. We were greeted by a very grumpy employee, who complained the whole time about how bad her day was going. We had to wait for our order at least 15 minutes and the only saving grace was the other employee who was at least pleasant. The chicken was not the best we have had at Churches. The inside of the restaurant was very dirty.
