Ms. Philly was very professional and attentive.
The young lady that took our order was very nice and when our freshly cooked apple pies were ready! She bought them to our table.
The young man there took care of his business cleaning, cooking and speaking Spanish to make sure the order was filled!
The restaurant might not be the newest store. But!!! By for the CLEANEST!!!
That speaks huge volumes! They take pride in their restaurant and it shows!
When your restrooms are super clean!
You know everything is very clean!!

I stopped here planning to get a meal, but before ordering I needed to use the restroom. When I asked, the staff on shift told me I could only use it if I purchased something first. They didn’t know I was already planning to order, and I felt disrespected by how the situation was handled. I didn’t argue with them and went ahead and bought my food afterward, but I wanted to leave this review because as a customer, respect means a lot to me. I’ve never been treated that way before, and it’s not a good way to approach someone who’s about to support your business.

Place is very old. Been there before said they changed their name to Texas Chicken and it’s supposed to be crunchier. Note the new name but it’s just harder. Chicken cold chicken tastes worse than when it was regular Church’s Chicken. So yeah definitely not something to to write home about. But on the other hand, if you go to Puerto Rico Church’s Chicken is the best number. One tasting chicken only and Puerto Rico in the US hands down. Not good told you

I had a terrible experience at this Church’s Texas Chicken location. I truly felt discriminated against during my visit — the way I was treated was completely different from how other customers were being served. The staff’s attitude made me feel unwelcome and disrespected, and that’s not something anyone should experience anywhere, especially at a place that serves the public.
The food didn’t make up for the poor treatment either — it was cold, and the order was wrong. But the real issue was the lack of basic respect and kindness. I hope the management looks into this and trains their employees better on how to treat every customer equally. No one deserves to feel like they don’t belong.

We drive across town (18 miles) for Church’s Texas Chicken …always fresh and crunchy. Don’t forget your fried okra or spicy rice.
Location on off Oak Ridge is high quality also. Employees seem highly engaged at either spot.

I’m not a big chicken fan, but the $6 box on Wednesdays with 8 pieces is awesome. I’ve been coming here for years but never took the time to write a review. The crew is always friendly and patient. Church’s chicken has the best biscuits by far. Expect to wait during lunch and dinner rush, because it’s always jam packed during those times. I can’t think of anything that I would change!

Food is way over priced. Chicken was tasty and fried crispy. 4 spices of dark meat; 2 legs and 2 thighs with 1 small side and a biscuit and drink, was $13.83. This was a spontaneous decision, but better options can be found.

IT has been a while , but order an 8 piece. Asked for napkins more than 4 and the the hot sauce. The women appear to be upset that I asked. Terrible atmosphere that one member made the experience terrible.
