Did not inspect my food before leaving, in which I normally do. When I got home and settled, thought I’d have a piece of tasty spicy fried chicken…..NO I was wrong. The chicken looked burnt and full of the flour that usually settles to the bottom. I tried calling about 5 to 6 times with no answer. I’m sure they were still busy. I was not able to go back out that day, so in the trash it went. Threw something in the oven instead.

NEGATIVE STARS! They gave me a 3 WEEK OLD BROWNIE! Truly one of the worst experiences I have ever experienced! Utterly terrible! I ordered online for pickup at 6 pm. I got to the store at 5:55 pm to be told I could not pick up an order through drive-thru, so I went inside… I ended up walking out with my order at 6:45 pm, which, mind you, was missing items! Why bother ordering online if you have to wait in line?! During the terrible wait, I had to be inside an extremely dark, dirty and messy place! And, I had to deal with poor customer service, yelling between the employees, and literally, the cashier walking out and quitting right then and there! They even told us to wait before taking our orders because they had to clear their screens first! Not a single employee apologized for all we had to go through, not one! I ordered from here expecting it to be like the Church’s in Puerto Rico! Nope! Not at all! Far from! The chicken sandwich was the worst I had ever had! It was tiny, flavorless and the bread was stale! The frozen chicken patties from the supermarket are way better! That is so bad! The fries were bland and soggy, the strips bland and nothing but batter, and I could not tell you about the wings because they did not add them to my bag, even though I ordered them! Everything about this visit was a horrendous nightmare! This location should just close down! It is an eyesore inside and out and only gives horrendous experiences! STAY AWAY!

Bottom line: food should have been ready!
Waiting an hour with repeated we are working on it. After one hour I asked again, this is when they looked at me and said we only have dark meat! We don’t have white meat! …really?! Should have told me when I walked in.
Bottom line is I should have been served first before the dinner line of cars went through. Period! Then to be verbally attacked by employees on and off the clock. Disgusting!
Speaking of that let’s not talk about the conditions of the restaurant! How employees treat customers, how they act when people don’t show up for work.
The little girl with 2 hair colors needs to get pulled from dealing with the customers with her eye rolling, comments like she knows something and is greater than the customers. I have worked in hospitality my whole life and never would I treat a customer the way I was threatened on Sunday trying to feed my daughter.
When I ask for a refund they said go online, but you need the receipt to do it and they didn’t want to give it to me! Now we know why the place was shot up a couple years back. And it is across the street from the main hospital, this place needs to be shutdown! Where is code enforcement?!
FYI: they only serve dark meat not white meat according to all employees! Thank you Churches, I will never return!

Stuff not friendly and I ordered 3 pieces chicken and sprite after going thru on their drive thru when I got home I noticed that they didn’t give me my drink I drove back and ask for my drink only to find out that its water that taste like soda water when I got home. I give up

I ordered my dinner online when I got there my food wasn’t ready and they still had to cook my fish sticks and my shrimp. The biggest problem I had was the guy was picking up my shrimp and my fish sticks with his bare hands “no gloves” which is very disgusting to me. I just recently got over covid two weeks ago so I asked could he put on some gloves. The manager in the background was not professional with the things that she was saying. One of the things she said was I wish we had a wall so these customers couldn’t see us and how we prepare their food then we wouldn’t have to deal with them telling us how to do our work and prepare our food. If that’s what the manager really thinks she shouldn’t be preparing anybody food because that’s just nasty to even think it’s okay to pick up someone else’s food with no gloves on. It’s been years since I ate at Texas Church’s Chicken on North Church Street Spartanburg South Carolina I decided to give it a try today since they had a remodel and everything but the service is still the same and it’s starting to look like the old Church’s Chicken and no matter how many remodels it has in the future, I will not be eating there ever again! The cashier was as sweet as she can be keep up the good work sweetheart.
I get home to eat my food and the only thing that is fresh is my shrimp and fish sticks everything else is dry or over cooked especially my biscuits they’re hard as a rock!

In my personal experience, I would put zero star on the food. I asked for a three piece chicken tender meal. I’m a chicken tender was still raw inside They were very busy, but this is a food safety issue This is my first time coming to churches chicken, which I was excited the team members are yelling at each other. The managers in the drive-through a customer told her that her food wasn’t right, and she just turned around and walked right to the drive-thru Ignoring the customer, this is the worst service

I placed a mobile order went to the drive thru there was one car in front of me that car waited atleast 15 mins before they got there order took. Then when I got to the speaker, they took 10 mins to take my order also. Told the guy I had a mobile order he said “ all mobile orders are supposed to come inside “ which is understandable. But I proceeded to say “ knowing I’ve waited in this line 25 mins “ he said yes. Most restaurants respect the wait time for their customers and give it to you through the drive thru, but I guess they have to much pride. I went inside 2 people in front of me the cashiers act clueless and completely unprofessional. Which my order was ready I seen the name. When I get to the register I told the cashier I have a mobile order the employee acted like they didn’t won’t to be there, completely miserable and kept taking there time rambling through my food. After 10 more minutes I got my food to come home finding out they didn’t put a biscuit in my box. If 0 was an option as a rating they’d get that.

Won’t be going back ever! Placed an order online and went to the store 25 mins later to pickup. Waited for 1 hour 10 minutes to receive food. 4 biscuits that was supposed to be included were not given. One biscuit was given and it was hard as a rock. Shrimp was not edible. Chicken tenders too. Won’t ever go back.

The lady at the window was utterly rude from the jump and after waiting 20-30 minutes in line I was told to come in the building. I came in to be told my order that was placed online was not ready for another 20mins. Even though I’d received a notification before ever heading to the restaurant that it was. I would have addressed my concerns with the manager on duty but she was just as bad as service answering personal calls on her smart watch, while laughing and goofing off. Chicken was overdone when all was said and done. Use to love their food but this was an experience I do not wanna deal with again.
