Horrible .okra fried to death and stuck together apple pie soggy n mashed up chicken fried too hard and cold. 10.00 wasted on two orders. Very very upset !

I was very disappointed. I didn’t look or taste the same. The chicken was way darker than I remember it to be. It didn’t taste freshly cooked. The spicy rice had a bad after taste and had a burnt like taste to it. I had to wait 10 minutes for a biscuit. The service was very poor. The cashier had the attitude like she didn’t want to be there. It has been at least 2 years since I have eaten at church’s. I use to work at church’s years ago so I Know how the chicken should look and taste and how customer service is suppose to be. I will not eat there again. Very very disappointed ☹️☹️☹️

This place has been in business for a VERY LONG time!! I have not eaten here in 15 years but it is better than ever every time I have. Plus I have to mention the cashier, Jessica, SHE IS 100% THE BEST AT WHAT SHE DOES. Greeting me and my parents, suggesting menu items, keeping us informed on how long the order would be before being brought to our table even apologizing that my order would be about 3 minutes before she could bring it and did I mind if my parents could begin their meal until mine was finished cooking. She has a smile that lit up the day, she was friendly, outgoing and just went out of her way. I TOTALLY recommend Churchs Chicken in Petal and HOPEFULLY you will have the pleasure of meeting JESSICA & HER SMILE ☺

I’m not really a big Church’s Chicken type of guy but will settle if there isn’t a Popeyes Chicken around. But speaking on This particular location, I’ll give them their props. Gave four stars not because there is anything wrong with the chicken but just seems like if you stroll through at night you may have to wait. I’m all for a having a laid back type of work environment but just make sure you have enough product ready before going into”It’s slow so let’s chill for a bit mode” that’s all I’m saying. Other than that great job.

Petal’s Church’s Chicken, typically has friendly staff, good and hot chicken. The interior store, usually, is clean. The driveway can be a little scary at times. It is just after the railroad and on the main thorough fare.
