I got a bacon cheeseburger plate, and man was it good! The burger bun was toasted, the lettuce was fresh, the bacon was good, and the onions were just great. Really nice, it’s a small place, so when it’s packed you won’t be able to park in their parking lot. It was 11$ for my meal which included a salad, a drink, fries, and a burger. I recommend!!

What-A-Burger (Church Street Cafe) is one of those tiny small-town spots you instantly feel comfortable in. Super old school Southern diner vibes and clearly locally owned. The burgers were so yummy, fresh, and juicy, and I still can’t get over how damn cheap it is for how good everything tastes. It feels homey, familiar, and comforting in the best way. If you want a solid burger without paying crazy prices, this place is a must.

Church Street is your sure way to Burger Heaven if you find yourself at Church Street Cafe! Don’t blink or you might miss this humble hole in the wall…just look for the What-A-Burger mural on the side of the building.
Church Street Cafe offers a charming 50’s era dining experience with several tables and booths, as well as stool seating at the counter. The food is VERY affordable, cooked right in front of you by friendly and efficient employees who offer a small-town family ambiance. You can’t go wrong with any of the menu choices…$10 will fill you up; the food is always hot, fresh and delicious! Come check it out, you won’t be disappointed!!

Me and my mom were looking for a Whataburger fast food stop and ended up finding this place on our way to Asheville, NC this summer and it was very worth it. The staff were very friendly, it was a lovely nostalgic atmosphere, and very delicious bacon cheeseburgers and onion rings.

Not the same quality food it used to be. Need a good exhaust fan. Clothes smelled awful just being there for 30 mins.

Old school dinner but the burgers are good and very affordable. We went because my husband had fond memories going as a child. He was so happy to see that they are still in business after all these years.
