Almost didn’t get food here because of the reviews but I’m so glad I did! The pork ribs were fantastic. Super tender and juicy. The sauce was sweet and tangy. I got the coleslaw and side salad with Greek dressing which were both super fresh and flavorful. The portion of ribs were great too with 6-7 pieces. For $23 it’s a great deal compared to everything else in the food truck park.

oof i hate giving poor reviews to small food
trucks, but this meal had me wishing that i had gone instead to the ABC Deli down the way instead. got prime rib, roast chicken, island slaw, and veggies. the veggies were literally just canned corn and green beans, no seasoning. island slaw was flavorless purple cabbage. prime rib was bland and tough. chicken was dry. the whole platter was $31. the only plus was it was plentiful, but bad food is bad food, avoid.

BBQ loaded fries (including a chipotle aioli sauce with small pineapple slices included) with pulled pork and beyond delicious!!! You cannot go wrong with this option at all.
The BBQ ribs were tender and the sauce was tangy, yet sweet enough if you are thinking BBQ from regions on the mainland. The meat did fall off the bone so nicely. Sides were decent and filling, although do not expect something over the top either.
Staff was courteous. Time for food to be ready outpaced other trucks, so definitely a plus without sacrificing a quality product.
If you are in the area, very good BBQ option. Be prepared to pay higher prices though, which then again you should expect being on Maui and the surrounding area continuing to justify these tourist prices.
Super easy access and great sitting places in a very open space environment nearest the major highway.

Was pretty excited to try. But it tasted a lot like Lloyd’s pre-cooked bbq pork. All sauce with small strings of meat… at 20 bucks a plate there is just too much good food nearby that has care put into it. None of my family finished their meals. Ribs didn’t seem fresh. But rather cooked this morning and kept on a warming rack…

We had dinner at the Chunky Paniolo food truck, and it was great! Tonight, we both ordered the prime rib with a side of Greek salad and mixed vegetables (corn and green beans).
Overall, everything was really good, and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal. If you’re looking for a satisfying and flavorful dinner, this is definitely a spot worth checking out!

I read the bad reviews and I’m not sure I went to the same place. We got the BBQ Pull Pork & Prime Rib, both of which were very nice…especially the pull pork had a lot of nice flavor (pineapple, etc). I’d definitely go again!

We got the Loco Moco. It was pretty good for a food truck! Lots of of rice and large patties. The gravy was pretty good too! The Mac salad was a mix of potato salad which was unique.

DO NOT EAT HERE. Worst ribs I’ve ever had: dry, flavorless and covered in kraft Heinz bbq sauce. Cole slaw has zero flavor. Vegetables are straight out of a can, rubbery and terrible. Oh, and on top of that every thing came out luke warm to cold. Can confidently say the worst food truck experience I’ve ever had. The order taker was also borderline rude. Shut this garbage truck of a food truck down for everyone’s sake. Thanks for ruining my evening and stealing my $25. Threw out the meal after a couple bites. Donating this to a homeless person or street dog would be rude.

Wasted $21 on a few shreds of super salty Kula pork in a sea of flavorless cabbage. The two sides were bland and tasteless as well. We feel like we were totally ripped off.
I took it back to them and they said that’s what we get… claiming it was 5oz of meat… no way, it wasn’t even two ounces!
This is the first review I’ve ever written because it was that bad!
