This is the cutest, quaint Korean restaurant with AMAZING food, FANTASTIC service and theyvare quick to serve. The atmosphere is laid back and the food was as authentic as it comes! Our server was super helpful with the menu and sweet when helping us with our selections! I would highly recommend Chung Oak if you are looking for yummy, authentic Korean food with AMAZING service!!

5 stars all around for this place! My husband and I went today for the first time and it was amazing. The food was delicious and cooked perfectly. The service was wonderful and very personal. In addition to this, the establishment is kept in pristine condition. We will definitely be back, thank you!!

I’m so happy we stopped at this restaurant on our way home. It reminded us of a few of the smaller restaurant in Korea when we went last year. We had the bulgogi combo plate and the dolsot bibimbap along with the kimbap. I love kimbap and make it myself, but there’s something to be said for having someone else make it and it still being warm when you eat it. The food was amazing and we’ll definitely return. I’m getting hungry just thinking about the food again.

The Bulgogi did not taste fresh. It was reheated and was barely even lukewarm warm. The sticky rice tasted like one of those premade microwave rice bowls from the Asian market. If you’re familiar with the consistency of that type of microwave rice then youd know it wasn’t fresh rice out of a rice cooker. Overall paid for food that wasn’t fresh.

Ordered kimchi jigae. Pork in the soup tasted old and freezer burned from years prior. You can tell they do not use fresh ingredients and sell old meat. They charged me $20 for crap. I will NOT be returning.

I order pork bulgogi and shrimp tempura. 27 dollars. The shrimp were actually butterfly shrimp. The pork and rice was fine. Nothing that I would come back to. The price felt like it was too much for what I got.

Authentic Korean food enjoyed by Korean locals! Delicious food in a welcoming, quiet, “hole-in-the-wall” restaurant…the best kind! Greet the staff in Korean and express your joy in sharing their food. You won’t regret it!

I absolutely love this place. The service is great, the food is amazing, and the portion is nice. I also think it’s a nice touch that they have hand sanitizer on all the tables.

This is my first time here I tried the Bibimbap that comes with Rice, Beef, Vegetables, and Egg and side dishes of cabbage kimchee, cucumber kimchee and shredded radish. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of food I received and I also liked that they put rice in separate container. I cant wait to try their other dishes.
Updated 6/23 – got the gimbap roll and the lunch special beef bulgogi it came with rice, kimchi, cucumber kimchi, shredded radish and 4 pcs lightly fried dumplings. Everything tasted fresh and was so good!

Food was great! Went there with the whole family for my granddaughter’s birthday. We had a good time, just as we thought we would.
