Wow!! How are we so lucky to have a place like this close by!? The food is fresh and flavorful! If you are taking fish to go for cooking at home, it is much higher quality than you see at Whole Foods too. If you haven’t tried this place and live seafood, check it out!! Daily Chef Specials are amazing and the California Burrito is their specialty, along with their swordfish!!!

Really good place. Order at the counter, where they keep and sell the fresh fish. I ordered the grilled mojo fish (swordfish) with 2 sides, broccolini and clam chowder. The mojo fish was subpar as it was over cooked and a little dry. The mojo fish is usually moist and juicy, and one of the best fish dishes in town. The portion size is just right. The clam chowder is the best I had in town. The chowder is made with fresh, quality ingredients. Not too salty and an ample amount of clams. The broccolini was delicious. I think the subpar mojo fish was a fluke and I will give this place another try. I have never had the tuna salad sandwich pictured but the person I was with raves about it. The negatives are that you have to order at the counter and it is pricey.

Not a fan of the order at a counter format. We felt rushed as people were standing behind us. The tostada was the best thing we ordered. The shrimp cocktail was meaty and blackened halibut was flaky, but nothing really jumped out for the $90 cost. The salmon burger looked tasty. Might try that next time; I will go back eventually.

Amazing food and great quality fish. It’s a very chill atmosphere and great spot to bring kids to as well. We had the burrito and it’s the best burrito we’ve had in along time. Fish tacos were light and had just the right amount of spice. We’re thrilled it’s in our neighborhood as we will be coming here on a regular basis!

We stopped in here for lunch. We are Chula fans and are so excited that they opened a location on this side of Scottsdale. This location is much larger than the restaurant in South Scottsdale. Despite that, it was packed. The restaurant is a very open concept and welcoming. We waited in a short line before ordering at the counter. There are digital menus above the counter. It appears that you can order fresh seafood from the counter to go but there was no prices on any of it so it was unclear. We ordered a beer and a glass of rose along with the Hawaiian Poke bowl. We were given a little number card to put at our table and then waited for our food.

We had a great experience. The food was fresh, amazingly presented, and every bit as delicious as we had hoped. The sashimi platter and fish tacos were top notch. Priced fairly for the market, and reasonably fast service for a Friday evening.

Poke bowl was delicious and staff was helpful and friendly. The tuna melt was a bit bland and would definitely benefit from a splash acid. I was thinking lemon juice or vinegar but my 11 year old said it needed a tomato which would get the job done too.. Regardless we are excited to come back for the poke and order fresh seafood from the counter.
