On the surface, this place looks like a casual Korean pub, but it’s a hidden gem serving up some seriously authentic and high-quality dishes.
My friend and I came for a casual dinner and were blown away by the food. We started with the assorted jeon (모둠전), and it was phenomenal. You get a variety of savory, pan-fried pancakes, each with a beautifully crispy texture and packed with fresh ingredients. It’s a must-order.
The main event was the Bossam with oysters (굴보쌈). The pork belly was cooked to perfection and served with incredibly fresh, plump oysters. The combination of the melt-in-your-mouth pork, the briny oyster, and the crisp kimchi was just great.
If you’re looking for a low-key spot with genuinely delicious Korean food that tastes like a great Korean meal, you have to check this place out. I’m already planning my next visit!
Service was very good and fast. Music wasn’t bad at all, so we stayed for a couple hours… drinking beer, soju, & somaek and chit chatting until closing time
I got the spam kimchi fried rice.
