Love Chucks!! Delicious Pizzas & Wings! Don’t forget to get the cheesy bread too. One of my favorite restaurants on the lake. Low key, chill, dive bar type vibe with excellent live music fairly often throughout the summer. Wish it would stay open longer into October!

Docked the boat after a long day on the water. We got there right at opening around 4 to ensure we could get a slip. The environment was awesome, the food was great and the kids had a great time. Highly recommend this spot! Afterwards we pushed out we set up in the main channel to watch the sunset with family and friends..

Now where the heck am I? Somewhere on a HUGE lake in Alabama. Lake Martin, actually. After docking the boat and after seeing the LONG line, I was disappointed. This is going to take FOREVER! But it didn’t! The line moves VERY quickly. My advice – get a friend to get you a beer while you wait in line and relax. The pizza is REALLY good and the staff is quite friendly. They even served us cold water while we waited in the sun. That was kind. Fantastic views of the water. I loved it.

Chuck’s is always a good time. Good food, great atmosphere, absolutely beautiful scenery. Lake Martin never disappoints. We visit just about every Sunday afternoon in the summer months.

Pizza was fantastic! Almost all toppings and no crust so it felt like more value for the money. The atmosphere is pretty chill, being a marina and right off the lake. Beer selection was decent. Would definitely come back

We love Lake Martin, and we try to get there several times a season. We discovered Chuckwalla’s (“Chuck’s”) on our first trip many years ago. We’ve been back a dozen times or more since. It’s always the same, and that’s a good thing. Beer is ice cold, and the selection is always broad and interesting. Cold water is always available, even while waiting in line to order. Pizza is delicious and the wings are, too! Try the Chimney Rock and the Margherita Pizza. Both are fantastic!
Just about the only complaint I ever have about Chuck’s is the it’s sometimes hard to find a spot to dock the boat if you go during busy times. We’ve never idled around more than about 20min, but we’ve had to wait in the water a few times to get a slip. Everyone is friendly (staff and guests) and we’ve never had a bad time.
I highly recommend you try it if you’re on Lake Martin!

Great place to powerboat into or drive and park. Great pizza, wings, and sandwiches. Try the Chimney Rock pizza but the others are just as good. Dog friendly, great Lake Martin views. Entertainment on Friday and Saturdays. Football season the place is packed with SEC fans.

Great stop for lunch on the lake. Friendly staff and good food. Prices a bit high but was expected due to location. Chucks marina next door does not carry live bait and the guy that worked there was rude to say the least.
