One of my top halal places to eat in Arizona! The tacos are amazing. The bowls are packed to the top and delicious. I really like the teriyaki chicken and beef and broccoli. I have been visiting for a couple of years now whenever I am nearby, and Carlos and Erika are really nice and helpful. I’m so glad they chose to supply halal options and Carlos is very respectful and asking questions about Islamic dietary guidelines making sure everything is good. I’m so glad we have a halal Mexican and Chinese restaurant in Az!

Chino Mex in Chandler is an amazing halal restaurant that really stands out. The food is fresh, cooked right in front of you, and the setup feels a bit like Panda Express where you pick your dishes and sides. The beef was excellent, tender, and full of flavor. The staff was very friendly and even gave us a little extra food, which showed how much they care about their customers. Everything was clean, well organized, and the service was fast.
What makes Chino Mex interesting is that it serves both Chinese and Mexican food, not as a fusion but as two separate cuisines in one place. You can enjoy fried rice and orange chicken or switch it up with tacos and burritos all in the same visit. The portions were generous, the food tasted great, and knowing it is halal makes it even better. It is a fun spot with good energy, great food, and a unique concept that is worth checking out.

This is the first time I came across a Chinese-Mexican fusion restaurant, and that is halal on top of it! The cashier was helpful in suggesting what to try as a first timer. The setup is similar to Panda Express where the entrees and sides are under the heat lamps so the food from the counter wasn’t as hot as I would have liked, but they taste good. The birria tacos were the best part of my meal! There is limited indoor seating due to the size of the restaurant; it wasn’t a problem for me when I visited for lunch.

This place was great because as a Filipino / Mexican family we love noodles, rice, beans, tortilla, carnita and tacos and ramen! Every option was available for us and we all shared a few plates.

Great spot! First time stopping in here – worker was patient and very helpful. Offered me some samples of a few food items I was curious about. Got the munchies plate combo that included two tacos and some Chinese food along with it. It was perfect. Everything was very delicious. A perfect first visit.

I visited for the first time on a Thursday morning, and I was really impressed with the food it was delicious! The service was great too, and it’s clear that some of the employees work hard and do a fantastic job. However, I did notice something that caught my attention: most of the staff were wearing hats, but one employee wasn’t. This person was even working as a cook, which seemed a bit unusual, since I thought all kitchen staff were required to wear hats for hygiene reasons. Especially that some of the reviews and customers have been saying that they don’t feel comfortable when employees don’t wear gloves and hats. Also, I saw that this employee was wearing a mask, which made me wonder if they were feeling unwell. I’ve come across some reviews mentioning that customers have gotten sick, and I’ve noticed some staff members appearing sick while working. It’s a bit concerning, because I thought there were guidelines in place to ensure that employees who are unwell don’t work, especially in a restaurant setting. Just something to keep in mind going forward.Overall, the food is fantastic, the restaurant is amazing, and I would definitely recommend it!

Hands down the best fusion halal food in town! As someone who loves Chinese and Mexican cuisine, this restaurant truly exceeded my expectations. We ordered the jalapeño chicken, chicken teriyaki, and orange chicken with lo mein, and each dish had its own distinct and delicious flavor. Everything was freshly prepared and carefully inspected by the front staff before serving. In fact, the server proactively sent the teriyaki chicken back to the kitchen because he felt it wasn’t grilled enough—exceptional service focused on ensuring customers get only the best. The lo mein sides were also perfectly cooked, not overly oily like those at some larger chains, making them lighter and more enjoyable. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return whenever I’m in the area again.
