This spot is definitely an above average dining experience. We went for breakfast and the chilaquiles were excellent. The coffee was also tasty. While certainly not bad, the service and atmosphere were just about average. Overall, id absolutely come back to try lunch or dinner

Friday night dinner. Got 2 of the 3 meat samplers. Pork was pretty good, brisket did not have much flavor but was NOT dry. I really liked the ribs and really did not like the wings. Fries and mac were good, cole slaw and beans were great. I was not a big fan of the sauces I tried. Hot link was HOT but good. Parking was a little tricky and dark upon entering. Id give the overall experience a 3.8. If I return, it would be for ribs and cole slaw.

Chuck’s, is a great place with as nice selection of BBQ and Cajun items, I do go to both locations.
Last time I was at the original in Burbank. The Gumbo was the best I’ve had in decades.

Much bigger than we thought it would be. Full bar was nice. Wait staff was very kind and great for the kids. The food was great! Rib tips (huge portion) and chicken tenders were very good. The gumbo and the jambalaya were my favorites, by far. The kids destroyed the cheese fries. Boudin balls were also very good, if not a little spicy for the kids. Overall, we really enjoyed the meal and can’t wait to get back!

Chuck’s Southern Comfort Food has the best ribs around. My hands down favorite. I first heard of this spot on WGN’s Chicago’s Best; it took me two years to get to Burbank, but it was worth the trip. Their hot dinner rolls are addictive. I come here for the ribs, but they have good brisket and catfish too. The restaurant is divided into the east side is the Voodoo Lounge, the west side is the dining room. The lounge had karaoke going, and the singer was pretty good. The dining room was getting ready for their big Easter day buufet. There were a few tables there on Friday night, but the dining room was not loud. Our waitstaff was well versed on the menu and kept an eye on our table. We finished off with Coconut Banana Cream Pie, I found it coconut forward, if you like coconut, this is for you. My husband had the strawberry swirl cheesecake, I took a bite and felt it had a fake strawberry flavor (like Nestlé Quick), my husband told me I was nuts. There is a covered outdoor patio that is popular in the summer.

I went there for an event. Room was very nice. No server. I had to leave event room to go to bar. Where I was ignored by bartender for 10 minutes. Tried to find someone who was in charge to have server sent to event. Ignored there also. Service sucks.. very nice venue. Clean. Drinks were good. I did not eat, I did want an appetizer but after the bar fiasco, no to food.

This is a huge restaurant located in Darien, IL. The restaurant fits a lot of people but it can get really busy on the weekends. There’s a nice bar, lots of tables and a patio when it’s nice out. The food is really great. I don’t think I’ve had a bad meal here. Service can be hit or miss but generally good servers are just busy. They’ve got a great beer and drink selection. They also do a lot of takeout. A great choice if youre in the area.

I am so happy to see more seafood on the menu. Now, as a non meat eater, I can go more often. The Salmon with Cajun butter was done to perfection. As per my request, it was well done yet still moist. My baked potato was rolled in salt before baking, just the way I like it. My husband really enjoyed his Burger. Our server was very attentive, making sure everything was done to our liking.

first time going here, the ribs are really good. Pulled pork was good a little dry. The brisket was tender but still a little dry..huge menu killer rock!! Music playing good variety of food also. The sage gravy is really good. Mac.n. cheese noodles are just too mushy, probably sitting in the steam table to long. Who knows All their sides are made fresh except the fries. I’m definitely going back for the live music! There were 4 potato skins on the plate. I couldn’t wait. 3 meat bbq sampler is the pics. Ribs pulled pork, and brisket was the combo I picked
