We were passing through the area by boat, so stopped in the Chuck’s Roadhouse for dinner. We were on the water all day and very hungry. There was nobody to greet us or seat us, so we found a booth ourselves. It appeared to be very few staff, so we thought about leaving. However a friendly waitress found us and brought menus. I ordered a 1/2 rack of ribs and my wife the chicken burger. The wait was very long for the food- approximately 40 min. When my order of ribs arrived I thought there was a mistake and they brought me something else! The ribs were the smallest I have ever seen. I counted the bones and it was indeed a 1/2 rack. The pig must have been the size of a house cat and very skinny. Maybe Chucks buys their ribs from the same farm that raises the Kentucky Fried chicken hens in 9 days!
Anyway, they did taste good, but after my meal I was still starving.

My mom and I came in on Saturday and had a lovely lunch. She had the grill chicken club sandwich with the mushroom soup. I had the strawberry pecan salad with chicken. Both were really good, mom was missing the tomato on her sandwich but other than that the meals were delicious. Both ladies were awesome, sorry can’t remember their names. It was my first time at Chuck’s will be back.

We stopped in on our way back from a funeral, heading back to Windsor.
We ordered the same as we have had many times before, and it was not great! The flat bread was good and spicy!
The salads were not bad, but did not come with the lemon for the Caesar salad!
The wings were tiny and the server forgot to order the gravy that was ordered and when we brought it to her attention , she said “I forgot to order it, do
You still want it?” Yes please. I ordered the lemon at that time! After at least 10 mins she never brought it to us, so we asked another server she returned with the gravy and said there would be no charge. & but still no lemon! Another 5-10 mins she brought the lemon! And was rude.
Once our server brought the bill, the gravy was on the bill, and I said there should be no charge for the gravy! She grabbed the bill, walked to the kitchen, she crumpled the bill and threw it in garbage! Coming back, I said your co-worker said there would be no charge, “well I didn’t know that”! I explained that isn’t my problem, so you shouldn’t speak like that to me!
The bartender (Ashley) tried to rectify the situation with a gift card and she was very kind!
We do appreciate good food and service, and always tip well.
Unfortunately, our server was not tipped and the food was not great. But Ashley was kind and apologized as well as rectified it!

Budget steakhouse.
Server was very nice and attentive.
Meal was ok . Steak was small but perfectly cooked. Lobster was a little bit overdone.
Well worth the money at current restaurant prices.

Gravy and fries cost extras for some meals so beware of upcharge that they forget to mention that it will cost you more.
Gravy is not good btw. Save yourself the $1.50.

Ordered 2 cheeseburgers and fries and chicken fingers and fries. Girlfriend picked them up on her way home from work, talked to the server who told her to stand at the bar and she’d be right with her with our pick up order. 25 minutes of waiting for Sarah the server she finally came over to let my girlfriend pay for the food that had been sitting there the whole time. Needless to say we’re not impressed with our cold soggy $52 dinner

If you want to waste a whole day in a restaurant go here. Slowest chucks I have ever been too. They offer no water, and there are only 2 people working on a Saturday afternoon. I went up to the bar to get a beer only to realize that the server was also the bar tender. I had to follow her around to order a beer. All we ordered was two appetizers as it is lunch and it took forever.

Dined here mid week, service was friendly but a little slow. I had the steak and lobster, was good except there was less than a bite of lobster tail. It was on top like running mashed potatoes and definitely not even a teaspoon of it. Otherwise was good all in all.
