I absolutely love this place. I have been going here for years since I was a kid. To me they stood out because the aroma you experienced as soon as you entered the mall made you want a hotdog before you went shopping. Overtime as the economy was going through they stood their ground. As of today the village is like a ghost town. There are a few stores that are left but not very many. Yet they are still there holding their own which is quite rare. So thank you to the team of the chuck wagon.

Hot dogs were good the service not so much. They have a sign posted asking customers to complete their cell call before ordering. I guess that only applies to customers because the person waiting on me was too busy talking on her phone to even realize that I was there. Once the other person said we have a customer, you would think she would end her call. She didn’t. In fact, she put it on speaker and I could hear every curse word the caller said. I try to support but I’m done, I will just go to Armans.

The Cashier Shanetta & her daughter that runs the stand are very disrespectful & Nasty Individuals There is a such thing as ethics & etiquette when dealing with the public There is Always an attitude with Shanetta I don’t know why But U get into to Customer Service to Make the Consumer Experience Inviting & Pleasant not Horrible I will never patronize this establishment again I noticed that she rung up my food then voided the transaction She also sells Mr. Wheeler’s products for her personal gain She is a disgusting representative of his business

Haven’t been here in a many many years.. my how things have changed.. Still the best beef dogs around.. Good prices also. I wish they would get their own trailer and maybe serve combos with fries at least.. but great food. Definitely recommend

The greatest Hot dog’s & Polishes in the world to me. 1965 This was where everyone bought the children to the village in Gary Indiana. Most special people that came back to work was the owner. We appreciate you never closing your door. The Village mall is ran down. If it’s was me I’ll make a drive through and cut off the entrance of the village because it’s mold out. God Bless
