I had two plates of salad and salads. A few hot items, the shrimp and fish were good. The vinegar pickles were great. The soft serve ice cream was good. The waitress did a really good job of keeping up with the drinks and cleaning up after us. Her name is Aliya. Had a good time. Thanks.

Honest review.
I went here today with a friend, and we both felt sick after eating. I felt extremely bloated after my first plate, but at first I didn’t take it too seriously. My friend felt the same way, and I’ve honestly never heard him complain about food before.
We left the restaurant around 8:00 PM and went to visit friends nearby. Around 9:00 PM, when we walked back toward the car, I vomited everything I had eaten in the Chuck-A-Rama parking lot. I apologize for that and feel bad for the staff, because the people working there were actually very nice.
I really hate having to write a bad review, but the food wasn’t just not very tasty — it made us feel physically unwell. We both felt unusually bloated despite not eating much. Something didn’t feel right, and I genuinely think someone should look into the food preparation process. I think something was added in the food to make us fell full. I really feel much better now that I trow out all the food.
Again, this isn’t directed at the employees, who were kind, but at the food quality itself.

We haven’t been to this location since covid hit. We live out of state and had to go to Logan and was looking forward to eating here. Highly disappointed the only meat options were baked and fried chicken, chicken fried steak and fish. Nothing like the pictures show. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning!

I went here with my brother excited to go to a buffet. I knew it was going to be expensive but decided to try this place again as the first time I was disappointed and it was a long time ago. We got our plates and sat down and about 10 minutes later some lady came up to us and said she was our waitress and could she get anything for us.. my brother and I both were extremely confused as to why there is a waitress at a buffet we said no we can get our own drinks.. it was awkward but not as awkward as when I went to get another plate and overheard this lady in the back talk about how weird we are and how we stared at her for a long time without saying anything. I didn’t tell my brother about this but it made me sad. We won’t be going back. I still don’t understand why there was a waitress.. it’s a buffet. Every buffet I’ve been to is 100% self service.. you put your plates in a tub when you’re done. Food is okay but I don’t like how it’s such a tiny place and they mislead you by putting mirrors all over the place

Who doesn’t love Chuck-A-Rama!?! The buffet is reasonably priced and has a variety of offerings from salads to down home chuckwagon cooking a great bakery and dessert bar, and a variety of daily specials. The decor inside is whimsical and have early pioneer days. All the employees I encountered were very friendly and welcoming.

Found a booth in the corner. For being a busy night it was fairly easy to converse. They were quick to remove dirty plates. They ran out of silverware and a couple of dishes. They were quick to realize the need but had one girl running back and forth doing several things. Took a little longer to get the silverware. Not a complaint just an observation. The manicotti was not good. I might have had a bad batch. Everything else was delicious.

A kid threw up near the salad bar on Valentine’s Day… hard to get an appetite after that and after hearing the employees say “stop I’m trying not to gag”… they then put the roll of paper towels on the salad bar. So everytime they needed to grab paper towels after touching throw up, they were just a couple of inches away from the salad bar, disgusting! The amount of food waste is dystopian and there is no employee when you need them (ex. Carving the meat – nobody was there the entire time). Will be disputing this with my card since we couldn’t eat after watching someone vomit. The only good thing was the busser employees working hard to keep up with the food waste…

Layout was horrible and confusing. Food was lukewarm and worse than canned. The employees kept standing in the middle of the small food area, and blocking the flow of people. Dispite the fact there were more employees than diners when I went, our plates were left building up on the table.

This was the worst meal we’ve ever had, the food had no taste what’s so ever! Bland as hell, I think they cater to the elderly crowd with bland tastes! Im truly disgusted that we paid 33 dollars and didn’t eat a single thing all they through! I hate wasting food but it was put were it belonged which was the garbage! We will never eat at another chuck a Rama again! I don’t recommend this place to anyone! Very sad for such a long standing restaurant!
