Me and my son go here every other week for breakfast with my mom. 99% of the times the waitresses were great, 1 time we only saw them once and thats all, granted its a buffet, some things you cant get yourself. Food is good, but only if its at least semi busy (unfortunately), this last time we went, there were like 2 other tables and the pancakes were rock solid and the eggs had that hard dry layer on top. But when there are a few more tables of people getting food, they actually rotate it better. Overall 9 out of 10, just be careful, there is a large family that has been there a few times we have went and they let’s their kids just do whatever they want, so just dont sit next to them and you will have a great experience.

Server was fine. But food wise? Not impressed. For $40 for two people you’d think it would be a range of food options with all qualities being relatively close but no. Most of the food was bland made only for old people with no taste buds. Very few were even good to eat meaning your choices are pretty limited for $40 for two people. Where to start on the dishes. Well, whoever was washing dishes on 11-23-2025 around 6-8pm needs to have a reality check. There was food on most of the dishes that came out from the back. I went to grab a plate and got a hand full of washed food underneath it. Grosssssss. There were SEVERAL dishes like this. They also ran out of forks for around 10 minutes so our group had to eat with our hands until they got more out. To be very honest, not worth $40. $40 should get people a wide range of delicious, flavored food. Not impressed. Golden Corral is better.

Chuck-A-Rama redeem themselves with a different location. It was fish night, so it was satisfactory. And they had the normal Staples of roast beef turkey and ham which was nice. Last time I went to Chuck-A-Rama those things never quite made it to the floor.

What a wonderful buffet! Never ever had a bad waitress. My wife, my sister and I go every Thursday and our waitress always has our table set up for us be for we even get seated. The food is great and we would highly recommend you try it.

The five of us sat in a corner booth with scrumptious food. The waitress Jen was so friendly and prompt. She went to get our drinks, always kept them topped off, and quickly cleared each dirty dish we set on the edge. She even went to get me a serving of the clam chowder when I said my drink was fine. I happened to have both kids to my one side and my two friends to my other side making it a bit tricky to extricate myself from the booth.
Both the chowder and the tomato basil soup were delicious. The special salad samples, stuffing, turkey pot roast with potato wedges and finger sized carrot chunks, fried fish piece (which is resting on my clam chowder), and half of a chicken enchilada were all fabulous. The French Fries were utterly fantastic, the best I have ever tasted in the last decade, no joke.
The charming decor and chuck wagon are super fun.
My sole complaint is with the small piece of chicken I grabbed with tongs right across from the stuffing. I don’t know what happened in the oven roasting but it was Extremely dry to chew. My dear friend grabbed a large piece and she had to move it to a take away dirty plate that Jen carried off swiftly. My friend hunted for a different meat to eat and came back to our booth quoting the old “Where’s the Beef” commercial slogan from back in the day.
I suggested that the yummy moist turkey pot roast might fill in. If we had gone to Chuck-a-Rama on a different day of the week of course the food selection would have been different since they rotate the themes of the menu.
Two big thumbs up for being practically perfect (aside from the one dry chicken)!
Oh, and everyone really loved both the vanilla and especially the strawberry soft serve.

After having been to other Chuck-A-Rama’s, particularly in salt lake and Sandy in Murray, I was a little disappointed in the limited food selections available. Also, the other locations always have fresh, moist food available. The food today was somewhat dry and tasteless. Hardly any seasoning. Frankly, was very surprised. Normally the food here is great. Not sure what happened. The staffers were great however, and it’s always a fun environment.

The food was better than average, on par with the new Golden Corral. Maybe a little better.
The service was excellent.
Beware, the silverware looks like it is from WWII and seen its day. They just can’t seem to get that stuff, whatever it is, off.
I’d definitely go again. Go early to beat the crowd, like 4pm.

Chuck-A-Rama was just what we needed tonight. I like being able to build my own salad (lots of choices of ingredients) and go back for an entirely different plate full of other stuff too! I like to see all of the food out in front of me in buffet style. The workers were having a hard time keeping up with the dishes on the tables so at first it was hard to find a clean place to sit at. I wish I had left overs to take home like I do when I go someplace else (you’re not allowed to take any food home), but it is still worth going to experience the buffet.
