This place was to open at Noon on a Saturday, but on this day the staff was late by nearly 30 minutes.
However, when I finally got the hot chicken sandwich, it was very good. It had a good level of heat and the pickles & slaw gave it a depth of texture. My only drawback was instead of a full chicken slab, it was 2 strips. Not what I expect in a sandwich.
While I waited for the place to officially open, a regular stated that their char-broiled burger was the star of this place. Hmmm a chicken resto serving better burgers. If Im ever back in Forest Park, I may give this place a second chance.

Food was impeccable. Asked for what their best thing was, and the lady said everything. She was indeed correct. We got 3 different things from spicy to none and it was all delicious. The mac and cheese was on point, mashed potatoes tasted home made. Only negative was the wait time but it was worth it for the food. Ate it before I remembered to take photos of it all lol so I only have one Pic. BUT the next time in in the area I’m definitely coming back.

First off that sauce is bussin. Also the owner greeted us and other customers at the door when we walked in. You can tell how dedicated the chefs were just from talking to everyone. All the food was made fresh to order and everything was flavorful. I went with medium heat and it was not overpowered by spice or anything. Everything was the right amount of flavor and spice. We also went in on a Friday and they were serving fish sandwiches and we had to try it. It wasn’t too fishy and the seasoning was also pretty good. I’d give the restaurant a 9 out of 10

Really nice place for real good food. My family and I stopped in after a trip into town for an escape room. We had the foghorn chicken sandwich, burger, mashed pot and gravy, tenders, nuggets, and fries. The burger and mashed we’re recommended by staff and were terrific.
Everything was delicious, hot, and fresh. Recommend if you’re looking for awesome food at a great price too.

– the Chubby chicken forest park, IL – I had the Fog horn chicken sandwich. Which is a Nashville chicken sandwich with jalapeño Coleslaw, pickles and sauce. They certainly were not kidding about how chubby this boy is. There were two chicken tenders. Crispy, fresh oil, and it had a nice brushed butter sauce with its spices. Tender, juicy. Perfect marriage of toppings. The jalapeños Cole slaw is genius. Who doesn’t like an extra spice. Pickles added an addition of salt and sour. It was the perfect marriage. Top 5 – 10/10

Great hot chicken sandwich. Got the Foghorn Leghorn and it was delicious, two big juicy tenders on a nice bun and the slaw was very testy. Got the hot and could’ve used a bit more heat to it. Fast service, nice people, I will definitely return. Good music playing as well!

This place is absolutely DELICIOUS! The hot chicken is actually hot (and will have you panting!) and high quality. Everything was freshly made and the service was excellent. The employees take the time to acknowledge you rather than just provide a service. We ordered the Fog Horn Leg Horn sandwich, the fried pickles, and the friendly fire fries. We will definitely be ordering from here again and I would re-order every item as they were all great!

One of the best—if not the best—chicken spots in the city. I was curious to try it after hearing so many great things, and was so delighted by the experience. I placed a pickup order in person, and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. The order was ready super fast.
The chicken was incredibly tasty and perfectly crunchy, and their sauce really tied everything together. I also got their Cajun fries which were just as delicious. If I’m ever in the area again, this is definitely one of my go-to spots to grab some food

WOW. sorry about the quality of photos – i got a to go order and there was bad lighting. but this sandwich lives UP to the hype. i got the foghorn sandwich, which is the nashville hot chicken with jalapeño slaw on it. i didn’t realize this until later but you could easily pick out the jalapeños if you wanted to (which is a relief. i was worried that the spicy chicken mixed with the jalapeño slaw would be too spicy together). however you can choose the level of heat: mild, medium, hot, or none. (not sure how the “no heat” is different than their normal chicken sandwich – they must be similar). i ordered the medium, and it was the perfect amount of spicy. hot enough to have a spicy sandwich, but not so hot to make my stomach hurt. the pickles were high quality as well, not cheap jar stuff. french fries (which you have to order as a separate side) were crispy and very good. i absolutely recommend this place !!
