Just got out of amc and decided to pop in. I wasn’t expecting authentic Taiwanese dishes in dt Burbank but I was really pleasantly surprised with how tasty the dan dan noodles were and how crispy the popcorn chicken was! The noodle texture was really great and they definitely got the popcorn chicken right. Excited to try their dumplings next time!

The dumplings are SO good!! I’m definitely coming back here. I had the pork dumplings along with the popcorn chicken and it was the best. It’s also a lot of food!
The lady who helps us up front and brought our food to the table, was the sweetest person ever. I appreciated her a lot.

We ordered through GrubHub, and we’re tingling with excitement when the order arrived. We dove right in, and were not disappointed. We ordered Har gow, shrimp with pork siu mai, crispy shrimp dumplings, black pepper wagyu beef dumplings, and chicken egg rolls, along with BBQ Pork Bao. All were AMAZING. First, nothing was missing, and the order was correct. Second, the dumplings were still warm when they arrived. Third, they were juicy and tender. Even my son loved them, and he is a pretty harsh critic. I was also impressed by the dumpling packaging (photo below), which made for a nice presentation.
We can’t wait to try the Wagyu Fried Rice!

The food is just very mediocre. It looks nothing like the photos on their website. The photos are extremely misleading. The photos show real small pieces of meat in their dumplings. This is just like any dumpling you buy at the grocery store. The premium wagyu dumpling was just a hunk of meat in the dumpling. Nothing gave me the taste of wagyu at all. We ordered that. The chicken dumplings tje bbq pork the shrimp har gow the popcorn chicken and the veggie garlic noodles. The best part were the sauces. The garlic ponzu and the spicy aioli were great but the food itself is very meh. The garlic noodles were the best dish I tasted and that was very mediocre as well.

Dropped by before a movie and was so glad I did! The steamed dumplings were absolutely delicious, and the chili sauce, wow, so good! I also tried the fried wontons for the first time and they totally impressed me. You can really taste the freshness since they hand-fold dumplings every day. Already missing the flavors and it’s only been a few days since I went! Can’t wait to be back.

We tried this place for the very first time today. We really need some good dumpling houses here in Burbank. I was hoping this would be a somewhat good place? Unfortunately, they need to work on the seasoning and other areas.
We ordered the tofu fried rice and the peas were so overcooked they were hard and dried out.
My significant other ordered the chicken dumplings and he said they were pretty bland as well as the BBQ pork buns. The custard baos were just ok. I’m really hoping you guys work out the recipes.

Had my husband come here to get me food and the website isn’t updated he was trying to send me a picture of what was on the menu since it was completely different and he explained to the employee what he was doing so it didnt look like he was taking pictures randomly employee was not understanding it took a second to receive the photo and they were just saying he cant just stand there and not order. I could here them over the phone and told him nvm it wasnt worth our business but now we know they have rude impatient employees

I usually am a fan of chubby group establishments. But I was disappointed in chubby dumpling. My beef soup which is one of my favorite dishes didn’t have any bok choy, and had almost no meat. It was 90% noodle. It was also SALTY as heck! I’ve never had a beef noodle soup with no beef and just plain salt. The noodles were nice and the little meat that was there was good. They need to work on the broth and portions. Also why have pictures of bok choy if you don’t even offer it? Feels scammy.

The noodles are amazing—super fresh and flavorful. The beef was especially tender and cooked perfectly, some of the best I’ve had in a while.

Really good and attentive service, and it’s the only reason this isn’t a one star. Got served raw/undercooked/pink pork in the cold/lukewarm classic soup dumpling. Returned it immediately and the kitchen cooked it correctly the second time. Two other dumpling dishes we ordered were also lukewarm but the meat was cooked so we didn’t return it. That’s a pretty serious food safety issue. But the manager handled it well and immediately comped us with other free items.
The other non-dumpling items, including the beef rice, were piping hot and freshly cooked and were good. But honestly, could not get over the fact that all the dumpling dishes were cold, and the pork was pink, undercooked, and mushy the first time around.
