We chose Christine’s to celebrate my birthday because our first visit was incredible — and once again it did not disappoint. The service was great and the food was amazing. We had the Italian egg roll appetizer, and for dinner the Chicken Danielle and the Milanese. We took our server’s advice and added fresh mozzarella and balsamic & it was absolutely on point.
We also had the chance to chat with the owner, who is super personable and took the time to get to know us since we’re new to the area. That really made the night feel extra welcoming and special. We’ll definitely be back again!

This was my first time at Christine’s and it lives up to every bit of hype I had heard. Not only is the food incredible – the staff welcomes you with open arms and gives you the best dining experience of your life. Trevor was awesome and gave us great recommendations. I highly recommend!

we had the most amazing time at Christine’s. this is the epitome of what New Jersey italian food should be. Ronnie was the absolute best – we all hugged him goodbye at the end of our meal. he treated us like family and gave us recommendations of dishes to try. i’d come back just to chat with him, but the food was unbelievable, too. Nina was our server and was also so cool and super helpful. the list of specials was insane in the best way.
italian eggrolls – nothing to dislike here. the cheese was super creamy, which we loved.
special salad – phenomenal. probably the best salad i’ve had in my entire life. everything about it worked and was perfect.
bread with roasted peppers – best roasted peppers i’ve ever had.
rigatoni sharon – super creamy, fresh, homemade pasta – ugh, so freakin good.
veal chop special – i could have cried it was so good. so tender, so flavorful, perfect mushrooms & onions and perfectly cooked spinach. PERFECT.
my husband also loved his chicken margarita and let me have a bite – delicious.
can’t wait to go back – can’t get anything like this where we live in boston.

Just attended a birthday party here and all I can say is Don’t. Don’t book a party here. The owner Ron is a creep and way too hands on with the female guests. He came in often to check on things which is good, BUT then he would stay way too long! The food was ok. Some was very good – the sausage egg roll and eggplant were great. Others were terrible – Stuffed artichoke bottoms? Sounds good tastes bland. The dinners were ok nothing more than that. Chicken Diane. Shrimp. And a rigatoni dish that was so overcooked and so over sauced it was inedible. The service was spotty but really not the servers fault. Ron did not have enough staff to cover the small main room and a party of 30. Totally his fault. They didn’t set up the desert until people started to leave. Got no coffee . and that room in the back is Freezing. Like what happened here? Bad first impression and not worth going back. There are great places on the same block.

We had the Rigatoni Alla Sharon, Eggplant Rolatini and The Cavatelli Sausage Broccoli Rabe which was ridiculously good. The portions were really generous and everything was really delicious. I was so pleasantly surprised. I’ll definitely return and I can’t wait to bring my family!

First time. The food was outstanding. Giant portions. Three entrees shared amongst 4 and we still left some and no dessert.

The Veal Christine is one of my all time fav dishes. Wow! You have to try. The veal meatballs a little too garlicky for me. The service was fantastic. Marc is def a world class server. Chicken parm very good. The Italian egg roll is def worth the ride here. We’ll be back. BYOB.

We went to Christine’s for our Anniversary dinner. I chose this restaurant based on reviews. I had great expectations, only to be somewhat disappointed. The food was ok, nothing special. I’ve had better, but I’ve also had worse! So it was mediocre. My husband and I shared the Italian eggroll. Since people raved about it. My daughter and her boyfriend had clams. We all had pasta dishes for entree’s…all were good, nothing out of the ordinary. They do give you generous portions. The service was terrible. We were whisked into this little section that was obviously the outside of the building covered in some vinyl ceiling. Not a nice atmosphere for fine dining. Our waiter graciously bought us our ice buckets and disappeared. Every time we needed something, we didn’t see him around. It seemed to take a long time between courses then to top it off, there was only one bathroom for both men and women! So we tried something new, but we’d never go back. .
