We started with the potato pancakes, and they were absolutely delicious. For our main dishes, he had the Polish platter and I had the chicken cutlet—both were excellent and full of flavor. Gabriela our sever was great, very attentive and friendly.
It’s a smaller space, so I’d definitely recommend making a reservation if you can. We’ll definitely be back!
We started with the Ukrainian borscht soup, which was the perfect appetizer. For my main course, I had the chicken cutlet with potato wedges and a side of beet salad. My mom had the bass with coleslaw and beet salad. Every bite was incredible. Also want to give a shoutout to Jacob and our wonderful server (I’m so sorry I didn’t catch her name) for the great service.
This place is a 10/10 and highly recommend everyone give it a try!
The owners and the waitress (Gabby) were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The atmosphere was calm and inviting, and nothing felt rushed.
Overall, it was a great breakfast with great service. I’ll definitely be back.
The atmosphere was just as great as the food: welcoming and relaxed, making it the perfect place to enjoy a meal without feeling rushed. On top of that my server Gabby truly made the experience even better. She was incredibly professional, attentive, and very well organized. She checked in at all the right moments and made sure everything was perfect without ever being intrusive.
Between the amazing food, the inviting atmosphere, and Gabby’s excellent service, this was a dining experience I’d highly recommend and can’t wait to repeat.
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with attentive service from Kuba and Gabi, who made sure everything was just right. The owners themselves came by, adding an extra touch of hospitality that made the evening even more special.
This place is truly a hidden gem in the Poconos. Delicious food, wonderful people, and an authentic, heartwarming experience—I can’t wait to come back!
We are both Polish so the quality of the food is more important than the novelty of it.
The place is well decorated and add a touch of class to the establishment. Complete with white table cloths.
The service was average, and at times in attentive. It was music of moderate volume, I would expect Chopin or maybe something relaxing. But it was Ed Sheeran. Go figure.
I ordered goulash and it came with two sides. I picked pasta and french fries. The goulash was good and tasty. I understand goulash can be made in many different ways. This lacked anything except the beef. No vegetables no peppers. But it tasted good perhaps because I’m from New Jersey when I get a side of pasta, I expected in a dish with some tomato sauce. That being said mushroom gravy or even butter and herbs should be appropriate and can learn a plate as a pile of pasta.Hmmmm.. I used some of the goulash gravy, but the waitresses should have discussed options. The french fries were standard food service fries. Nothing special. I was turned off by the food service packets of ketchup. (see picture). Somehow doesn’t fit with the white tablecloth.
My wife had schnitzel which was well prepared. The potato wedge is, however we’re cold and dry. The grilled vegetables were excellent, however.
There is adequate seating and we were able to park on the street although we were there for lunch. I’m not sure how parking is at other times.
They were odd things on the menu like pierogies come in quantities of seven or four. Quite a departure from the normal six and 12 although they were priced like a dozen pierogies.
The restaurant has potential but it will take some culinary fine-tuning
