Haven’t been to Chris’ diner in a while but since we were in the area decided to stop in for breakfast. The Diner is large with comfortable seating with tables and booths and service was fast and friendly.. Ordered their veggie skillet and coffee and it wasn’t great. When the meal arrived it looked nice and I was looking forward to enjoying this egg skillet. The strange thing was it had other flavors from the grill it was prepared on that I could taste in the skillet which threw the whole meal off. It was difficult to put my finger on what the exact taste was , but it tasted different and not in a good way. Even the coffee wasn’t very fresh and had that older coffee taste. Nothing worse than old tasting coffee. The place was busy and it was late morning so I understand things can get hectic but the meal was not good and i didn’t finish it. Staff was very kind and helpful but food needs to be improved. Not sure about other menu items which is why I gave three stars. Maybe it’s just the egg skillets that are off Food or cooks need to improve.

Very good mix of tastes and variety on yhe menu! The Buffalo Chicken Cheese Steak was delicious and was served on an incredible roll. I didn’t have it on the sandwich but the marinara sauce that they served with it was so good I ate it like soup!

I’m saddened to read the amazing service this restaurant provides. Unfortunately I didn’t even make it to a table leaving for feeling dismissed. The host (middle aged man) passed by me several times after seating a family of three. He went straight to a young woman standing in line who by the way was very gracious in pointing out to him I was waiting to be seated. He continues to ignore me finally asks me if it’s just me to tell me I have to wait for a table to be cleaned. This was what made me leave, he wanted me to wait for a table but there were three empty and ready tables (singles). Besides this mishap on my very first visit I hope to visit again when I’m in PA. But for the Ambiance to match the amazing waitstaff and food I read about, there needs to be a consideration to have a host with good hospitality.

Called ahead to take a girl scout troop of 15 girls along with 5 adults, and the girls and adults really enjoyed it. The service was quick, the menu was extensive, and the staff was accommodating. Fifteen Brownie scouts are a lot to deal with, so they are to be commended. The food portions are large enough that no niece goes home hungry. Also nice that they serve breakfast all day when you have picky eaters in your party.

This is our family go-to place, whether it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner the food is always delicious. Some family favorites are the Cobb salad, spanakopita, coconut shrimp and all of the soups are good but the Italian Wedding is the best. There’s nothing on the breakfast menu that we haven’t loved. Chis and family greet you with a smile and understand clients who have mobility issues. The waitstaff is friendly and efficient. It’s great to see a family business thriving.

Typical diner atmosphere but I would say the food was above average. The fries are amazing. I also had a rachel that was one of the best ive had. The only thing we didn’t like was my wife ordered the Greek salad but didn’t realize that there was no meat. She should have read that though. She really enjoyed the dressing so that made up for it. I’d go back again in a heart beat!

Just had dinner here and loved our server Laura! The menu is HUGE and everything we ordered was amazing. My kids said the fries especially were fantastic. You must get the dinner rolls as well–like bread heaven! I got the French onion soup which was fabulous as well as the gyro.. My hubby got the broiled flounder and mashed potatoes. He finished every bite. My son got the fried chicken sandwich and my daughter got a bacon cheeseburger. Everyone loved their meal and Laura was so funny and personable. A delightful dinner for us all!!

Visiting as a trucker from Manitoba, Canada with my 5 year old daughter in tow. Came in Sunday night for dinner and it exceeded my expectations. Excellent service and food. The Wedding Soup came second to none! Superb!
