My husband and I had an amazing experience at Chris Cross Café this evening, and the customer service truly deserves recognition.
We arrived right as they were already closed, yet the gentleman working still welcomed us in and allowed us to place an order without hesitation. That alone spoke volumes. While preparing our food, he was very transparent and honest about not having enough catfish left and gave us options to choose between catfish and whiting, which we really appreciated. No surprises—just clear, respectful communication.
On top of that, he went above and beyond by generously providing us with drinks, which was completely unexpected and incredibly kind. His professionalism, warmth, and genuine care for customers were outstanding and honestly rare these days.
It wasn’t just about the food—it was the experience. Customer service like this leaves a lasting impression, and we will absolutely be back. If you’re looking for a place that values people and treats customers with respect and generosity, Chris Cross Café is it.

I’ve always seen this place in the mall but never got a chance to stop by until yesterday. I got the wings and mac and cheese. When I say the flavors were EVERYTHING! Chicken nice and crispy and I really wish I got more of the mac and cheese. I’ll most definitely be back to check out something else! Only downside was I had to wait for someone for a little while. To me, it sounded like a very important business call was happening so I get it…but the wait was WELL WORTH IT! The lady was super nice too! All in all,5 stars from me

Friendly service, food was excellent. I had fish sandwich and french fries. Both were wonderfully seasoned. My daughter had fried catfish, macaroni & cheese, and collard greens. She also loved her meal. We were given a sauce for our fish, which was delicious. The servings were huge and the prices were very reasonable. We’ll definitely be back.

I am stuffed. Had the catfish sandwich with fries and I couldn’t stop eating it was so good! The banana pudding was delicious. It’s different from what I’m used to texture wise but the flavor was fantastic! Can’t wait to be back and try other dishes.

Great food but it’s a guessing game wether or not the person working is gonna come out from the back or not. Waited for several minutes for someone to come out of the back and take my order and no one came out. Open sign was lit up

Awful experience. Waited half an hour for two breakfast sandwiches the cook had no sense of urgency and made one order at a time and after all the wait we didn’t even get a “sorry” or anything. Then we go to the car cause we are now late and realize they didn’t even put the meat I asked for on the sandwich! I asked for scrapple and egg and ended up with just egg on bread which wasn’t even good either. Will never be coming back

The sides were just as impressive. The macaroni and cheese was creamy and comforting, and the collard greens were full of flavor. But let me tell you about that sauce—oh my God! I love hot sauce, and this one was next level. Just the right amount of heat with a flavor that pulls the whole plate together.
