I had a shellfish reaction today, while eating there. Also I only at my soup and a few of my chicken pieces because I started having allergic issues.. was charged the entire price of my meal anyway. Even after bringing it to the owners attention. Disappointed. Owners are very nice, but I shouldn’t have been charged a full price for a full plate being left behind.

Wow,what a great experience at Chows, the soups had a fantastic flavor, and me being a big man, the portions were more than adequate, and even tastier. I love that Eric and Tanya took the time and talk to us, which we enjoyed even though they were busy.Great job! We will be back, and soon! Those who complain and want instant gratification for food should go to MacDonalds!

Great, clean place. The Lemon Chicken rocked, a full breast of tempura style breaded breast covered in sweet citrus and sliced lemons served with rice on the side. Expect fresh, superior fare with satisfying presentation. I loved the hot tea personally, but found the egg drop soup a smidge salty. May just be my taste though.

Coming from outside the area and having access to some great Thai food, Manistee is lucky to have this restaurant…a real gem. The food is excellent and flavors outstanding…you have the advantage of choosing your degree of spice which is good if you are new to Thai. My meal was enough to take some home for lunch the next day…and still excellent. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who knows good authentic Thai food…you will be pleased!

The quality of the food in my opinion is very good, however the wait time for food to be prepared is horrible. I’ve given him more than one chance …more than two chances actually and finally today the third time I was told the same thing as always… thank you for your patience… however was still charged for everything including some extra onions after waiting over an hour for food in a restaurant with four tables. If you have 2 hrs to burn…good place to eat.

I love Chow’s Kitchen so much! The owner Tanya is an angel and puts so much love and care into every dish. Those who are looking for mall-style, gluttonous Chinese food should just go to Panda Express or China Buffet, but for a DELICIOUS home-cooked meal, don’t hesitate to come here. Thai food is the focus and obviously the specialty (try the curries or honestly any of the “authentic cuisine” dishes), but Tanya’s take on classic Chinese food is also incredible. Her ingredients are fresh and her sauces are light and flavorful. Don’t wait to stop in — it really feels like dining with family.

I’ve waited over a hour for a take out on fried rice and they were “out” of crab ragoons. I sat and watched other people come and pick up there take out orders no problem I am still sitting waiting on fried rice. I will not return! And I loved the food but the service was horrible. I have never sat a hour for rice in my life!

The building seemed to smell of heat and sweat when I walked in. The server was friendly and kind. The food was acceptable but not exceptional. They have a stereo that is pieced together in the dining room and it has major audio issues that cause it to crackle constantly. Based on the servers actions, it can be fixed by wildly flailing the volume rocker from 1 to max and swearing at the system in front of the customer’s. This coupled with the servers excess flegm I’m his throat made this experience less than desirable for me.

DONT LISTEN TO ANY OF THE REVIEWS UNLESS THEY ARE RECENT! This store recently went under new management and the food is now HORRIBLE! I USED to love to eat here, but now, the food tastes bad, it lost its quality! The fortune cookies are stale! This place is horrible now!
