First off, the service was really nice — our server was super attentive and friendly. Mixed feelings about this place overall though. We were excited to try Lao food while in Cambridge for a wedding (Saturday & we’re from Vaughan) and decided to stop by for lunch.

The water tasted off — kind of muggy, not clean-tasting. The Beef Larb ($34) looked great on paper (ribeye with lime, fish sauce, mint, cilantro, and toasted rice powder) but was a bit disappointing — something was missing. The rice tasted like it had been microwaved, the purple onion was overpowering, and the chicken broth lacked flavor. Not worth it in my opinion

The Tom Yum Egg Noodle Soup didn’t have the typical tom yum flavor — a bit unusual but still edible. On the bright side, the Khao Soi and Red Thai Curry were both really good . The Lychee Ginger Lemonade was pretty meh.

The place itself was clean, including the washroom, and the decor was nice. Overall, I’d rate it 3 stars mainly for the great service. I wouldn’t go out of my way to return, but maybe I’d stop by again if I was in the area craving their Khao Soi or red curry.

Good food but not great. Pad Thai had a bit too much of an eggy taste.
Fresh food overall.
The benches are too high for the table. Takes away from the experience.

Everything was incredible. It was delicious, staff were friendly and attentive even when busy. 11/10 would recommend. We got the dumpling soup and spring rolls to start along with the spicy tom yum soup and shrimp vermicelli. I can’t wait to go back

A lovely find driving through town. It was not the easiest location to find, down a hill off of the main street.

The food was delicious and thankfully there were gluten free options. The options were slightly confusing identifying a protein that was gluten free, not the meal itself. Staff went through the menu and identified 4 or 5 different meals that were gluten free.

This is my second time coming here and it was just as amazing as I remembered! We ordered shrimp fresh rolls to start and they were delicious. Our mains were street fried rice, beef pad Thai and lemon chicken. All dishes were super delicious. Very fresh ingredients and a lot of flavour!

My first visit here was a really positive experience!I understand that new faces can sometimes shift the vibe, and energy doesn’t always connect right away — but I always show up with respect and the best intentions. It’s about growing together and building uplifting connections. Can’t wait to come back and create more good memories!I genuinely enjoyed my first time here! I get that every space has its own feeling and that sometimes new energy takes a moment to blend in, but I always lead with respect and positivity. I’m grateful for the warm welcome and the good vibe — looking forward to continuing to build real connections. It’s refreshing to find a mechanic who’s dependable, honest, and grounded. You can tell they take true pride in their work and care about their customers. That kind of integrity brings peace of mind every time.I’d recommend them to anyone who values sincerity, trust, and top-quality service

The food was very average and the protein contents were very less for the price.
Great ambiance to hang out. The bubble tea which we got was tooooo sugary, beware before you order bubble tea.

DELICIOUS!!! GENEROUS PORTIONS!! I had been here with a friend about 4 years ago and had a great meal. Now we are finally back and I think it’s even better than before! We had the spring rolls which were so delicious and fresh, lao laksa and miso ramen which were both absolutely flavourful and delicious and huge portion. So filling. The beef was so tender and the chicken was full of flavour. We then had the churros which were so tasty. We can’t recommend this place enough! Go!

The food really impressed us! Tried it for the first time, the Khao soi tastes very authentic and they gave a good amount of shrimp. The mild is still a bit spicy but I still enjoyed it. The lemon grass chicken was great too! Juicy, well marinated and they had a mild fish dipping sauce.

I highly recommend the spring rolls (which I was originally worried about because in some photos it looked a bit over-fried but ) ours turned out ✨perfect✨. Everything was fresh and delicious.

Atmosphere was nice! It’s quite kid friendly too. We will be back for sure can’t wait to try some other dishes.

Also, I wish they had mango sticky rice!
