I’ve walked past this place for years and never stopped. I recently ate here and it was very good. Bento box is a good deal, with a good amount of food, fixed when you order. Glad I tried it and look forward to getting it the next time I’m at the mall around meal time.

Chinese food made Japanese style! I liked my Shrimp order # 3 not too crazy choices and best of all it’s cooked in front of me. It’s a mall environment food court but I still enjoyed my meal at 8:00PM as I didn’t know what to eat. This place has the right combination for everyone.

1st pic is What they show on menu vs 2nd what they served. Chicken pounded so thin it’s dry and has more crust than ckn and only flavor is dry panko crumbs.

Food wasn’t bad but it was a little too sweet for our taste and we like the chicken to be a little more charred/grilled. I did throw away the vegetables cause there was a little extra protein with it that I didn’t care for lol.

Great food, great costumer service and a very humble and welcoming staff. Prices are also reasonable unlike most Japanese food restaurants in the area who make you wait longer and the food gives you unsatisfactory results when you take into account the amount you paid. Keep it up guy’s my best wishes for you and your awesome little restaurant!

I love dining here; their food is always piping hot and delicious. They always try to give you samples even though I already know their orange chicken and hibachi chicken are delicious. I also appreciate the steamed veggies and always opt for the white rice.

It was just okay. Very dry. I felt it was yesterday’s food. Plenty of vegetarian options. The staff was very friendly.

I really love the Hibachi Chicken here! It is very good, a large amount and fair priced, especially for being in a mall food court. Totally worth going!

I recently dined here, and I must say, it was a pretty disappointing experience. From the moment I walked in, things started to go downhill. The service was incredibly slow, even though the place wasn’t that busy. It took almost 30 minutes just to get my food.

When the food finally arrived, I was hoping for a redemption, but unfortunately, that didn’t happen. The portions were not as large as they should’ve been, especially considering the prices, and the quality was lacking. I ordered a classic dish, hibachi chicken, but it was greasy and tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for too long. The rice was overcooked and clumpy, and the vegetables were limp and flavorless.

The ambiance wasn’t much better. The decor felt dated and worn, and the lighting was harsh and uninviting. It didn’t help that the place was playing loud music in the back that made it hard to have a conversation.

To top it off, the cleanliness of the place left a lot to be desired. I decided to look closely at everything while I was waiting on my meal and noticed that it was honestly disgusting. Some areas looked like they haven’t been dusted or cleaned in months or even years.

Overall, my experience at Chopsticks Japan was far from enjoyable, and I won’t be going back. The experience was overshadowed by the restaurant’s unfair policy of not allowing its employees to keep tips. It’s incredibly disappointing to see a business practice that exploits its workers and denies them the compensation they deserve. The food was just okay—not enough to compensate for the poor service and unethical practices. My dish was lukewarm, the flavors were dull, and the portion size was smaller than expected. Given the overall atmosphere and knowing that the staff is treated unfairly, I felt uncomfortable and didn’t enjoy my meal. I suggest looking elsewhere if you’re in the mood for Chinese food. This place needs a major overhaul in both service and quality.
