I have been going to Chops since they opened in 2022. I have even got to go to a few private events there. The service, food, and drinks are consistently amazing. The staff is very attentive and knows how to cater to every patron. Everything I have ever ordered was always delicious. My favorites that I order each visit are the lamb chops, octopus salad, thick bacon, and oysters rockefeller. The steaks are always great, I do enjoy the veal chop, pork chop, chicken and seafood as well. The expert mixologists create cocktails seasonally that are perfect. I highly recommend Chops for a superb dining experience.

Such an amazing and lovely place. Came here tonight with my husband for my anniversary and we loved. Owner was really nice and staff as well. Went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. You don’t find that nowadays. Food was great, drinks are a little over priced but I’m guessing it’s because of the area. But food was great. Everything is so fresh and unique. Will definitely come back ! Thanks guys for making my anniversary special

Chops has a dark, somewhat odd Prohibition-era theme that doesn’t fully match the surrounding Patchogue vibe. The food was average at best and definitely not worth the hefty price tag, and the drinks were overpriced as well. They also strictly enforce a dress code, which feels out of place considering it’s located on a strip full of dive bars and fun, casual spots.
Overall, the place feels more like a gimmick than a restaurant focused on delivering genuinely great food. It’s an interesting experience, but not one I’d go out of my way for again.

It’s tough as we were going to go to our normal steakhouse (GM) but decided to try something new , we should have gone to our normal spot. I made a RSVP so there was no wait when we got there 530 it was quiet all open seats and we were sat on a 4 seat in the back next to kitchen/bathroom, my fault should’ve said something. Then because the front of restaurant is very dim for ambiance they had lights blaring by bathrooms which was really throwing my eyes off trying to adjust. The waitress did lower but still bothersome. Then it took a while for us to get our drinks and mind you maybe 6 people in whole restaurant. Then when ordering we ordered off the price fixe menu to try a little bit of everything, upcharge filet, fine. There was no butter or sauce on filet, mashed potatoes had no flavor and either did asparagus.Just because it’s price fixe shouldn’t skimp on quality. My wife was upset as I make a better filet and sides, disappointing she took most of it home for dogs.Service was nice but the establishment is missing a lot to be a nice steakhouse. Wine selection meh, not a big menu. Did not get a chance to try the mixed drinks which I think the vibe is about. Sadly I will not return and will go to my usual spot in great river.

Booked a 7pm reservation & had to wait a lil over 30 minutes for my reserved table. About 10 minutes in I thought yeah they are getting a bad review but shortly after that review the host offered complimentary drinks for the wait. Now that is how you do business! Best steak we ever had food & service was 10/10

Excellent! The atmosphere is beautiful. The food is amazing and the service is even better! Stopped in for lunch. Very reasonable prices for a lunch menu. The service was incredible, super friendly and accommodating. I can’t wait to go back for a dinner night.

Great food, great service. The Oysters Rockefeller are the best I’ve ever had. The filet mignon was fantastic as well.

I called about the dress code as I had never been there before, was told absolutely no sneakers, hoodies or tee shirts, business casual is acceptable, we walk in and the two guys in front of us hoodies torn jeans and sneakers.
Mel the waiter was wonderful, however the porterhouse porkchop for $55 was a mess of grizzle, entirely like chewing a pack of gum.
When we inquired about the dress code we were told well it is a Wednesday. SERIOUSLY?
The atmosphere was ok, the waiter superb, the manager excused away our questions about the dress code inquiry in a hurried sense like we were bothering him with nonsense.
Was definitely NOT worth the $280 bill and $100 tip we will DEFINITELY not be going back, not a good experience
