We have dined, at quite a few steakhouses, and Chops is by far one of the most decadent. Greeted and seated with devine intention. Every aspect from the meal, ambiance, and tasteful music made for a most pleasurable experience. Our server and the entire staff were attentive and courteous. The food was phenomenal! Looking forward to dining here again!

Took my bf for his birthday our first visit here. From the moment we walked up to the door we were welcomed. Had reservations and was seated immediately. Inside slightly dark but definitely 1920s vibe which was romantic. For appetizers we had shrimp cocktail and the lobster lollipops. Shrimp were colossal shrimp and were delicious. The lobster lollipop was definitely a different idea and very tasty. Would like the butter to have slightly more flavors but the wasabi sauce was good. We both had New York strips and both were cooked to perfection with a slightly charred outside. Creamed spinach was also delicious! For desert we had the chocolate cake which was delicious however after an interruption with fire alarms we could not finish as when we got back to our table it was cake in the middle of melted ice cream. Slightly disappointed we weren’t offered another dish to remedy the mess. All in all we are looking forward to our next visit and possibly our new favorite steak house

What can I say… Chops is like stepping into a Time Machine. You’re transported back into a different era all while experiencing 5 Star modern day service. The food was immaculate. The drinks, perfection. I cannot recommend a better place for a girls night or for a romantic dinner for two. Hands down will be back. The staff were amazing and the ambience was one of a kind. 100000/10.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Chops. We also had our daughter with us, and to our surprise, they offered a kid friendly option that wasn’t on the menu.

Love the ambiance and it has a nice vibe. I thought the food was ok but I was not wowed. I did not leave thinking about when I could return. We were a table of 3, we liked the freshly warm bread, I was not fan of the butter but I did like the sauce included it was a mixture of sweet and savory. For starters we ordered crabcakes •octopus salad and Oysters. The crabcakes were overpowered by too much breadcrumbs and I did not taste the lump crabmeat. The octopus salad was good but it was not tender.

Chops is one of our favorite spots in Patchogue! This is the perfect date night location. It’s intimate and the ambiance is incredible – a speakeasy vibe if you will. You feel special and catered to from the moment you walk up and the red carpet and door man greet you. JP is a phenomenal manager – extremely attentive and eager to please. He checked on us throughout the evening to ensure our experience was wonderful and made a great wine selection. The Liberty School Cab was perfect for our dishes and really completed the meal! Our waitress last night was Casey, who is a ball of happy energy and a phenomenal server. She just makes you want to smile. She made excellent food recommendations as well. We had the lobster salad special that should be a regular menu item – it was perfectly presented and the cilantro sauce was a great compliment. The wedge salad was chopped and plated to share which I appreciated. The porterhouse for 2 was cooked perfectly and so tender! Their chimichurri was a nice surprise, as I’m usually disappointed with restaurant chimichurri. It had a nice little kick and all the right flavors. Also, the Parmesan truffle fries were absolutely amazing! My only complaint is that I wish I had more room to try dessert. Thank you guys for a wonderful night!

It’s expensive for what it is. I had fun. Staff was excellent! Patrons were well-heeled and out for a good time. People were friendly, chatty. My reason for 4 stars, it was a tight squeeze…but in all fairness, we didn’t have a reservation, and they accommodated us.

Complimentary limo service, a reserved table sign with your name on it, and a Bourbon water dropper on the table distinguish this steakhouse from the competition.
