I had an amazing experience at Chophouse Gyro! The Chicken Bowl was absolutely delicious, perfectly seasoned chicken with fresh ingredients that came together beautifully. My friend ordered the Chicken Zinger Sandwich and it was fantastic too, with crispy, juicy chicken and just the right amount of spice. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was welcoming. The portions were generous and everything tasted

Thee quality and portions has gone downhill now. I used to like this place, not anymore. The rice looks really oily and lot of coloring compared to before and the chicken portion is smaller as well. Not worth it anymore for the price. Here is a picture of my last order. Very disappointing.

We asked for the sauce on the side and no peppers. And this is what we got… Almost no lettuce on one and no lettuce at all on the other. With it fully covered in sauce and barely any meat. Will never come here again.

My husband and I stopped by for lunch today, we got the yummy zinger chicken sandwich and two chicken rice bowls.
The zinger sandwich is DELICIOUS, it was so saucy and cooked perfectly with the softest bun (we ate it so fast I didn’t get a picture) and the chicken over rice is just as delicious. Safe to say we will be returning.

It was quiet when we came in around midday! My husband had been here before, but it was my first visit. I ordered a classic pita, it was not super messy to eat and had good flavor! I tried my husband’s tandoori masala chicken over rice, which gave me food envy, but I also really enjoyed my gyro, which I did not share We enjoyed the crispy fries, too. Our server appeared to be the cook, too (I think he was the only worker at the time), he was very polite. We were in no rush, so we enjoyed sitting to chat while we waited for our food. We will definitely return!

Ok we’re normally huge fans and have been to this location before but man I’m disappointed in them today. My paneer and masala chickpeas rice bowl (something I have ordered probably 10 times between this and their other location in Plano) was SO bad today. The chickpeas were in a very dark, very bitter gravy and the paneer was practically bear except for a drizzle of hot sauce. Normally this bowl has a wonderfully creamy, reddish-orange masala (it’s basically the Tikka masala sauce) covering all of it with streaks of their white sauce and hot sauce. It’s a flavor explosion usually and a favorite of mine, but whatever the hell I got today I have no idea.
I don’t even know if I will be back because if they changed the recipe of this dish, who else knows what has changed? And what they served today was NOT an improvement.
They also upcharged me $0.54 simply for asking for the “greens” on the side (they are referring to their sad iceberg lettuce mixture with chopped vegetables – the onions of which always taste a little rancid). I simply did not want them to become a soggy mess while transporting my hot food to my destination and that’s suddenly an upcharge? Seriously? For what? Due to an extra styrofoam container? Or for your inconvenience of needing to package it separately? PETTY.
