45 bucks for 2 reg plates of sub par food is ridiculous.
Couldn’t chew the steak and it was cooked to death!
Paid more for shimp and got 5 tiny shrimp..just ridiculous.
The whole dish had very little flavor. If it wasnt for the sauces, we wouldnt have eaten any of it!.
They offered us some chicken for compensation…thanks for that but we wont be back!

We were just driving through Amarillo and wanted something quick and convenient, and Chop Chop Rice Co. was the perfect find. The service was fast, the food was hot and flavorful, and the whole experience was super easy.
I got the teriyaki chicken rice bowl, and it was way better than I expected for a quick stop. Generous portions, fresh ingredients, and great flavor. It definitely beat the usual fast food options.
If you’re on the road and need a solid meal without the wait, this place is worth pulling over for.

I popped into this venue to try their food and it was overall good. I got a few different dishes to try with my group and they were all tasty. They had a great sauce and salsa bar to get extras for your plate and the service was nice.

Good food and service, good soft drink selection as well. Chop Chop has been on our regular rotation of favorite dining spots for the past 10- plus years, whenever we stop in Amarillo. The orange Sriracha is a great addition to menu as well.

Unfortunately, our experience at Chop Chop was disappointing. While driving through Amarillo we decided to find the highest rated restaurant we could and eat there. Considering that this place had a 4.7 rating with over a thousand reviews, we had to find out what this was all about!
But having tried it, I can’t imagine how this restaurant was rated higher than everywhere else. Don’t get me wrong, it’s an okay fast food Chinese place, but the food we were served was bland, overcooked, and not particularly tasty.
I had the chicken and shrimp teriyaki with fried rice, but they forgot to bring the teriyaki. When I did get some teriyaki sauce, it was as runny as water and it did nothing to add flavor to the overcooked chicken or the flavorless rice.
Outside of the actual food quality, the rest of our experience was not great either. There was a pricing discrepancy between the menu on the wall and what the register attempted to charge, the staff was new and not very aware of the menu or processes, and we were even bugged by flies at the table.
I can’t give more than 3 stars, and I feel that’s a little generous. We were left wishing we had tried another local establishment because I don’t think this can be representative of the top restaurants in Amarillo.

Ordered steak fried rice no veggies , made it home realized there was veggies so I went back , told them about it , they proceed to use the same cup take out the veggies and put the same steak back in without adding more rice . I could’ve done that at home . Ridiculous. do better.

The young male cashier greeted us nicely as we entered the establishment. After ordering the food the wait time to receive it was less than a minute. They bring the food out fast! The food taste great, pricing is good, and the serving portion was good as well. My family and I will most definitely eat there again.
