My family and I think the food at Chop Bento is so delicious, fresh, and flavorful! While we dined there, we enjoyed the Thai basil fried chicken, garlic green beans, chicken lo mein, mala chicken, and general tso’s chicken. The dining area was clean and nicely decorated and the bathrooms were too! The owner was really kind and friendly. Even though drinks, utensils, and sauces are self serve, he was attentive to the customers and offered recommendations right when we sat down. The care he puts into his restaurant is evident. We highly recommend Chop Bento and will definitely be back!

I am just visiting family in the area and wanted some asian food. This little spot is cute, calm, clean and had great portions. The food was amazing ( thank you kitchen staff) and the servers were friendly and sweet. I also though the self serve area was nice. The udon was fantastic and the cheese pork katsu was some of the best ive had!

I ordered the mala chicken and it was full of flavor without being too spicy, which I really liked. One of the servers, Lily, was really nice and very professional and helped us decide on our order. The ambiance is great, and the restaurant looks newly made and very well kept. My friend ordered the katsu chicken and it was really good too. Great value for money and I would definitely go back.

ABSOLUTE MUST TRY!! Atmosphere was so cute and homey but the food was seriously the best food I’ve had in so long. I love all the dishes it comes with and how balanced it was, and a whole meal with the chicken katsu, curry, rice, salad, and miso soup was only $14 I was shocked. The pickled radish had passionfruit in it and the salad had this amazing peanut butter dressing, just pure perfection. So many places uptown suck but this is such a gem and I WILL be coming back. 100/10 I hope this place doesn’t change anything about what they’re doing.

One of my kids goes to Miami and has been telling me about this place. I finally got a chance to go, and it is really special. We’ve had lots of this type of food, but never this good. Very high quality chicken, perfect veggies, seasoned differently and better than other chicken katsu we’ve found. Very cute inside too. Lucky it’s close to him, wish it was closer for me 🙂

Best Asian food I’ve ever had in the US! The service was super fast, we ordered by QR code and food was on the table within 7 minutes. Beautiful and modern decoration. Will absolutely be coming back! (Edit: came back for more because it was so good! Got the chicken katsu bento and lo mein with seaweed salad, plus complimentary crab rangoon from the wonderful owner who recognized us as returners! Very highly recommend!)

Owner could not be more nice. Phenomenal food. Phenomenal service. Green beans, walnut shrimp, bento box, all amazing food. Easily the best crab rangoons in Oxford.

Came here on their soft open. The customer service was really good, and the presentation is very professional. The quality of the food is something I would expect to find in Cincinnati a level above Oxford Quality.
I had the Chicken Karaage and Japanese Udon Noodles. The udon noodles were some of the best quality noodles i have had ever. They were served with veggies that weren’t just bell peppers and covered in bonito flakes which I rarely see outside of big cities. The Karaage was well seasoned and cooked it reminded me of a Japanese bar I go to in chicago. It was all dark meat so it was very tender and juicy.
I overall highly recommend the food!

Excellent food, super fresh pickled veggies, best ragoons I’ve ever had, the seaweed soup was subtle and savory and the Japanese fried chicken was EXCELLENT. Crispy, light, and moist. The slaw was. Good balance and the sauces were all great additions. I am gonna bring my parents back this weekend when they are in town so more pics to come,
