Sort of the chipotle of Indian food, only you order on a screen vs standing in a line. My wife both had bowls and a side of naan. I included a samosa with mine, which was very good.
Service was friendly, dining area spacious & clean. Food was ok (naan & samosa were really good). As for value, what you get for what you spend is worth it. If you’re looking for tandoori or more trad’l Indian food, you’ll want to visit a more trad’l Indian restaurant, but for something different check this place out.

The service was awesome! We came on 1/20 around 11am. The place smelled amazing. Spotlessly clean. The decor was fun. The food was absolutely phenomenal. We will definitely be returning again and again.

I’ve been coming to Choolaah for the past two years, and it never disappoints. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and consistently delicious. My absolute favorite is the chicken spicy bowl with mango sauce—the perfect mix of heat and sweetness!
Charo is amazing—always so friendly and provides super great customer service every time I come in. Ahmad is also fantastic and makes the experience even better. The whole team is welcoming, the service is quick, and the atmosphere keeps me coming back. Highly recommend!

Went to this Choolah for the first time after going to others in the area on the east side for several years an was left incredibly disappointed. We usually go to Choolah and order 4-6 entrees with a group of friends that we commonly eat with. When we order this many entrees it never takes more than 10-12 minutes for them to prepare our orders. However, this time in Crocker it was just my husband and me and we stopped at Choolah because we only had about 40 minutes to eat and it’s a healthy fast food option. It took over 25 minutes for our food to come out and we could see when it was done they put it up on the counter but there was no one at the register to pass it to us or page our beeper. We had to stand at the counter and wait for a kitchen staff to finally stop what they were doing at their station and give us our food by this time it had been 30 minutes since we ordered. We finally get to sit down and rush to eat and the food wasn’t even hot? It was barely warm! If we waited 30 minutes for food shouldn’t it be hot and fresh? It felt like the rice and veggies had been sitting already made and were completely cold while they must’ve been preparing only one part of our meal fresh? Perhaps the Marsala? It was an incredibly disappointing dinner and because we were rushed and it wasn’t that great I barely ate any of my bowl, I asked for a to-go lid to take my leftovers and they didn’t even have lids that fit my size bowl?? This Choolah is a sad, sad comparison to the ones on the east side.

We ordered catering for an event we hosted and the food and experience working with the team at Choolaah Westlake was great! The website was easy to use, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and gracious in helping me get the large order to my car. Special shoutout to Ahmed who made sure our order was ready on time. If you’re looking for fast, delicious, and easy catering for an event, Choolaah is a great option!

As a bit of background, I am generally unfamiliar with Indian cuisine, but have been trying to expand my palate. Choolaah was such a wonderful experience from start to end. The building is amazingly clean, and the kitchen looks impressive. The service was amazing, and staff was open to offering samples to help give me an idea of what everything tastes like!
That brings me to the food. Unbelievable. I usually hold chains to a different standard as they like to make food generally appealing and inoffensive. This place however blew me away with the up-front and powerful flavors that scream freshness in case you couldn’t tell already from the open kitchen. Immediately had me hooked. Prices were fair and I would highly recommend making a stop here if you’re looking for something new!

I just had the best experience ever at this place!!! and all this thanks to Latrice that helped to pick the right ingredients for my meal! She’s so welcoming, helpful and professional. She checked on me to make sure that everything was alright … it’s so appreciative . I loved my food so much and I’m very picky regarding food but this one was amazing!

I like the lamb meatballs, really good. Was just here last week and came again the second time. I dont particularly like authentic Indian food too much besides Vindaloo spicy curry(which they do not offer) but if you’re like me order the yellow Dal with your plate and not the chickpea or tikka curries you can get away from that “authentic” taste and have a great savory meal. So dont be afraid to give it a try. Bonus points for the hot sauce stand, sauces are awesome!
