Service here is fast and friendly, and the staff keeps the place spotless, even during busy hours. There’s both indoor and patio seating, and the vibe stays lively but comfortable. Prices feel fair for the quality and portion sizes, especially considering how consistent the food is. It’s a great choice whether you’re grabbing a quick bite, meeting friends, or trying something fresh and flavorful beyond the usual mall food scene. Definitely worth adding to your rotation.
We ordered Chicken Wrap and Lamb Wrap. The biggest minus and the reason for me giving such a low rating is that the wraps were cold. What is the point of having food in a restaurant when it is not hot? I would rather have the food take away if I did not need it hot.
The chicken wrap was good , the chicken pieces were well cooked and the sauces were delicious, however the naan / roti which was used a wrap was cold which made my experience not so good. I had to chew the wrap quite a bit. The lamb wrap was not the best has the mutton felt like not to be completely or well cooked.
The side sauces which we had were ouch and omg, the sauce ouch was yummy and spicy with green chilly flavor, and the omg sauce would be good if you like the sriracha flavor with some tanginess.
I only hope to get back to this place and have a good experience and good food next time. It’s disheartening to give this place a low rating when I know that they could have been a lot better.
First, let’s start with the food, for the price there is no value here. The portions are lackluster and the variety is non-existent. This maybe would be acceptable if the food was stellar, but it wasn’t. The masala sauce was watery, protein was non-existent (because they forgot it on my order and I had to ask about it (mistakes happen)), and everything has a overpriced upcharge. Want veggies? Add $5. Want extra rice? Add $2, etc. That said, the variety was also non-existent, your options were protein or veggies. Add a spring mix (no different then the one you find bagged in grocery stores) and brown or white rice, then add a sauce. That’s it. Expensive chicken and rice is basically what you’re paying for, which in fact took way too long to get prepare. That all said, the staff was super friendly, but that’s all positive I could really say.
I couldn’t recommend this place. Hopefully they can diversify their menu and add some better value because at the moment, it is not worth visiting and with other similar restaurants popping up there are much better options. For reference, everything we ordered pictured cost about $50. 2 bowls (one of which they forgot chicken on and I had to ask for), 2 sodas, samosas and 1 extra naan.
Hard pass on this place, don’t waste your money.
The menu offers a wonderful selection of dishes with customizable options. I highly recommend the Chicken Tikka Masala bowl—perfectly spiced and full of flavor. The naan is soft and freshly baked, a perfect accompaniment to any meal.
Service is quick and efficient, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. It’s a great option for both a quick lunch or a relaxed dinner. If you’re in the area and craving Indian food, Choolaah is definitely worth a visit!
I liked the aesthetic of their restaurant. The food was okay. It’s basically Americanized Indian food (like Chipotle). I got their paneer wrap, and it wasn’t bad. Usually, I get a rice bowl with black daal and paneer
