Choolaah in King of Prussia is a great spot if you’re craving flavorful Indian food in a quick, casual setup. The place has a clean, modern design with open kitchen views where you can actually see the tandoors firing up—pretty cool touch. The menu offers a nice variety of bowls, wraps, and combos, so it’s easy to mix and match proteins, sauces, and sides. The chicken and paneer options are tender and full of spice, and the chutneys really tie everything together.

Service here is fast and friendly, and the staff keeps the place spotless, even during busy hours. There’s both indoor and patio seating, and the vibe stays lively but comfortable. Prices feel fair for the quality and portion sizes, especially considering how consistent the food is. It’s a great choice whether you’re grabbing a quick bite, meeting friends, or trying something fresh and flavorful beyond the usual mall food scene. Definitely worth adding to your rotation.

Tried the samosas, pav bhaji, aloo tikki, and paneer bowl — everything was delicious and perfect for sharing, thanks to the generous portion sizes. Ginger mint lemonade – had a refreshing kick, and the mango lemonade – was sweet and smooth; both paired really well with the spicy food. A great spot if you’re looking for Indian street food with bold flavors!

It’s funny because we have a Choolah at our college, so I was really looking forward to visiting one of their franchised chains. I was thoroughly surprised from the top down how friendly the workers were, how nicely furnished the place was, and how good the food was as well! (I mean, I have it at my school and it’s bussin, so I didn’t expect anything less!) Hope I can come sometime again!

Choolaah is one of my favorite restaurants around KOP, comfort food all year. The lentils are great with a little bit of spice and the brown rice is simply delicious. If you’re open to try revisited Indian Food, this place is a good point to start. By the way, there is some interesting kind of collage in the walls

We are glad that this place was introduced to us couple of years ago by our friends. We visited this place few times now and tried few items over the period. We had good and bad experiences at this place, and the current rating is just based of one experience we had today which was disappointing that I had to rate it 3.
We ordered Chicken Wrap and Lamb Wrap. The biggest minus and the reason for me giving such a low rating is that the wraps were cold. What is the point of having food in a restaurant when it is not hot? I would rather have the food take away if I did not need it hot.
The chicken wrap was good , the chicken pieces were well cooked and the sauces were delicious, however the naan / roti which was used a wrap was cold which made my experience not so good. I had to chew the wrap quite a bit. The lamb wrap was not the best has the mutton felt like not to be completely or well cooked.
The side sauces which we had were ouch and omg, the sauce ouch was yummy and spicy with green chilly flavor, and the omg sauce would be good if you like the sriracha flavor with some tanginess.
I only hope to get back to this place and have a good experience and good food next time. It’s disheartening to give this place a low rating when I know that they could have been a lot better.

I love the freshness of the food here. I’ve visited twice and haven’t been disappointed, yet. So far. The Tikka and Yellow (pictured) Masala is good! I haven’t figured out what pairs well with the sauces yet. In my opinion, they don’t complement the bowls well. Unless, they are made for the salads. Overall, great food and awesome service. The staff is very friendly.

This place was such a let down. This place has a Chipotle-esq fast food vibe, but failed to deliver on it.

First, let’s start with the food, for the price there is no value here. The portions are lackluster and the variety is non-existent. This maybe would be acceptable if the food was stellar, but it wasn’t. The masala sauce was watery, protein was non-existent (because they forgot it on my order and I had to ask about it (mistakes happen)), and everything has a overpriced upcharge. Want veggies? Add $5. Want extra rice? Add $2, etc. That said, the variety was also non-existent, your options were protein or veggies. Add a spring mix (no different then the one you find bagged in grocery stores) and brown or white rice, then add a sauce. That’s it. Expensive chicken and rice is basically what you’re paying for, which in fact took way too long to get prepare. That all said, the staff was super friendly, but that’s all positive I could really say.

I couldn’t recommend this place. Hopefully they can diversify their menu and add some better value because at the moment, it is not worth visiting and with other similar restaurants popping up there are much better options. For reference, everything we ordered pictured cost about $50. 2 bowls (one of which they forgot chicken on and I had to ask for), 2 sodas, samosas and 1 extra naan.

Hard pass on this place, don’t waste your money.

Choolaah in King of Prussia is a fantastic spot for delicious and fresh Indian cuisine. The restaurant has a vibrant and modern atmosphere, making it a great place to dine with friends or family.

The menu offers a wonderful selection of dishes with customizable options. I highly recommend the Chicken Tikka Masala bowl—perfectly spiced and full of flavor. The naan is soft and freshly baked, a perfect accompaniment to any meal.

Service is quick and efficient, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. It’s a great option for both a quick lunch or a relaxed dinner. If you’re in the area and craving Indian food, Choolaah is definitely worth a visit!

I went on a Saturday around 4:45 PM, and it took such a long time to get our food.

I liked the aesthetic of their restaurant. The food was okay. It’s basically Americanized Indian food (like Chipotle). I got their paneer wrap, and it wasn’t bad. Usually, I get a rice bowl with black daal and paneer

I used to love visiting this place a couple of years ago. They served some lip smacking fusion food . The food was simply bang for buck . Recently however, their quality has fallen off a cliff . I ordered the perfect balance bowl , and for the 15$ price tag, it’s more of a small sampling plate than being a “bowl” . The brown rice is hard as nails ,and their paneer needs to be cooked longer . The staff don’t seem to care for the customer either . Will not be visiting again !
