Fried Fish at its finest….you used to be able to get fish all over Baltimore back in the 80s and 90s, chos has been here for years now and is loved by many, sometimes a line out the door.

This is a carry out so you have to get your food and go. I use public transportation so by the time I got home my food needed reheating. Im sure it would’ve been better had i ate freshly cooed.

The last time I came here was 17 yrs ago. Alot has changed here since than, and I will say for the worst. The main thing I didn’t like about this spot is that they (DONT) except credit cards, bank cards or debit cards. “CASH ONLY”. This place didnt have much to offer outside of chicken and fish. I ordered 4 wings and fries. They could have left the wings in the fryer for a little linger though.. Fries were pretty good. Conclusion: My first time here in almost 2 decades and this will be my last time here. Peace.

I love they use cornmeal, but hit and miss with the salt sometimes. I used to get the lake trout, but one day I ordered steak fish for my aunt and I and noticed the difference in taste of freshness. When you select the fish yourself and have it cooked, it possibly could be fresher than the lake trout. I agree with the one review, if the Father isn’t there the fish may not be cook thoroughly. Most of all, this is the place I always choose for fried fish when I’m too lazy to do it myself. I recommend this place.
