Wow what a nice little place in downtown Georgetown! I called them on Tuesday for a Birthday cake for my wife on Friday or Saturday(Saturday being Valentine’s day and my wife’s Birthday!) The lady was very nice and was able to make the cake for me and even had it ready Friday evening! I ordered a chocolate over chocolate cake with chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate drip, etc from a pic I found online and they nailed it!! Cake was perfect and the was perfectly prepared!! The cake is so good!! Only one tiny issue was the cake was about 2 times bigger than I needed!! It is so good we are just sharing !!
It did slide a little in transit but we live out in the country on a winding road so that was kind of my fault!!

I stop in this fabulous gourmet chocolate shop a few times monthly. I can sit comfortably and work on my phone. I usually get an Americano coffee and a dessert and as a former restaurant and bakery owner myself (sold mine in 2006) I can say I am impressed with their work. Some say their prices are high but for what they are offering in quality they are not high at all. The owners are sweet and kind and the family members are all involved. I’ve picked up gift boxes of desserts and truffles and all of my recipients have raved. I took the photos myself and I think my favorite dessert is the Triple Chocolate Mousse (the round one in the 3rd image). This store is a treasure in Georgetown and they now have a new location in the Fayette Mall.

Amazing! I have tried multiple flavors of the LA desserts, and lemon is definitely my favorite. I’ve always had a crunch with all of mine! I believe people see videos of other stores versions and decide to be over-critical. Great for the price and be sure to set your expectations reasonably:)

I drove all the way from Lexington to Georgetown to get the LA desserts. They were beautiful, everyone was very kind, and they were super delicious! They were so worth it! Best dessert! Will definitely go back!

Paid $20 for this for my pregnant wife. The chocolate was hard & she said she couldn’t even get to the strawberries because of the thick pistachio and Katafi mix. Why is there only chocolate on top? Don’t recommend paying $20 for this.

I don’t typically leave negative reviews, but I feel like this needs one. I went to Chocomania today to get a Dubai cup. The cup costs $10, which seems a little pricey, but I love Dubai chocolate so I was willing to pay it. This is how I received it (see photo). I asked for a to-go container because it looked like it was overflowing, and I was told there aren’t lids for the cups because the chocolate will harden. She said she could give me a box, but it won’t close. I took one because the chocolate was already dripping down the sides of the cup. The chocolate continued overflowing while on my way home. I’ve had it in the fridge for 30 minutes, and it still hasn’t hardened enough for me to actually pick the cup up without getting chocolate all over my hands. For $10, I would think I would get something that didn’t look like it had already been dropped a few times.

Chocomania is our favorite dessert place!! The desserts are outstanding, but I think it’s really the top notch customer service that makes this business the best bakery in Central Kentucky and my personal favorite in the state. The owners and staff have remembered us from our first visit, and go out of their way to help us select a dessert to fit our preferences and customize our orders (pies, cheesecakes, cakes, candies, etc.).
These are good people, and we look forward to our future visits in Georgetown, the Chocomania food truck at festivals, and soon Lexington as soon as the location opens.

Chocomania knocked my grandson’s 1st birthday cakes out of the park, it was even more than I expected. They worked very hard on making sure it was the most adorable cake ever!! I highly recommend! Thank you guys so much!

First time here and was sadly disappointed. We got a few different treats out of the cold case and they all tasted very similar to each other. The cake on the bottom of the mousse and death by chocolate was rather dry. There wasn’t anything that was particularly special or made me want to purchase again or even recommend the store. The atmosphere in there was very awkward. We were the only people in here and one of the employees was speaking loudly on speaker to someone on the phone and that was the only sound. We watched potential customers come in, and then turn around and walk out for whatever reason. I will say the display was beautiful and the seating area was tasteful and inviting.
