Love it here! Kind and patient employees who helped me make an informed choice about the options. They let me know there’s some sugar in them and that I could order it without if I wanted. Small menu but so much to choose from. I got the Mumbai extra chai with ginger and no sugar and it was incredible. My partner got maple pecan and his wasn’t even that sweet but definitely could tell the difference in the tea base for each drink. Adored the art on the walls and the cleanliness of the place, easy to hear the clerks because there was no loud overhead music. Will come back ! Thank you friends!

Me and my husband had Mumbai Cutting Chai and Samosa Chaat. Very tasty. And vibe is great, service is great, they play beautiful hindi songs. Enjoyed the chai while it was snowing outside.

My food was prepared very efficiently. I got the samosa chaat. Big flavor, nice and spicy. The spices and citrus balanced the dish perfectly. My server Shanu helped me decide what to get, since I’m a little unfamiliar with this chaat. Their desserts (the one with cottage cheese) and chai are great too. Would recommend to anyone!

What a great find! Looove the super long menu of chai options and the food was so good! We loved the masala chicken curry bowl and the Pani Puri. (I can’t believe they make this at a walk up counter spot just off Michigan. So good!) And the pistachio cardamom chai was excellent. Mostly crushed up pistachios in cardamom flavored chai but I drink every bit.

The staff was so lovely and helpful. We ordered more than we could eat so we’d have some leftovers. Delicious!

The aroma in this Nepali Cafe is mesmerizing. From curries to chai wafting in the air, one’s palate is jolted.
The first time I came across this shop, I had limited time and couldn’t get anything. I returned the next day to be greeted by Uzi. He provided extraordinary service and took time getting to know his customers. I enjoyed my hot cardamom chai and my iced horchata-chai. Both were perfectly sweetened and satisfied my love for chai. I bought a few bags to take home to enjoy. I look forward to returning next time I’m in Chicago. Definitely a place to stop for a breather while in Chicago.

If you want authentic chai, this is the best chai spot in the city. After my trip to India, it was hard to find authentic chai! I had the ginger cardamom and it was delicious! They have many flavors and reasonably priced.

Stopped in on a cold day for a warm tea as we finished our walk. The space was bustling, but service was swift. The chai was delicious, served piping hot, and seamed fresh. We grabbed a couple of samosas to top off the experience. I’d visit again!

I gotta say, I expected much better. I got the traditional masala chai to let the flavor shine, and it was quite dim to say the least. My friend thoroughly enjoyed it, but as an avid tea drinker, I was quite underwhelmed. Maybe I’ll give the other variants a chance, but I visited a year ago and it was likewise under-flavored and over-sweetened. Sigh, we need good chai

We had a wonderful time visiting this cafe; it was the perfect way to take rescue on a rainy day. The ambiance feels cozy and creative with a beautiful mural! We were with a large group and the staff was very accommodating and helpful as we were trying to decide the menu. I’d recommend! If you’re more of a traditional tea drinker, go for the Desi chai and if you’d like to spice things up, try the spicy masala chai! I also had their coffee and it was delicious. This will be a staple visit when we come back here! My in-laws also wanted to take some cute pictures and the staff made a special drink for them and put it in some cute cups, which was very sweet of them.

The best Chai and Indian-Nepali street food in town! I am not much of a chai person but I am hooked to their chai. They have so many different variety of chai. Recently tried their turmeric chai and the flavor and aroma was a 10/10! Perfect chai for the fall and winter.

I like their chat options, we tried the aloo chaat, bhel puri, and samosa chaat and they were so tasty!! I could keep eating them. The Kathmandu chicken momos are also a 10/10. I always order them when I am there.

They have to two locations. One on Michigan Avenue and the other on Logan square. I have been to them both and strongly recommend them.

Check it out and enjoy delicious chai and snacks.
