We are a Texas and New Mexico inspired grill located in the Hill Country Galleria. We make almost everything in house and our menu is over 80% naturally Gluten-Free. All around 5 star experience. Been here at least a dozen times over the years, and when I’ve got time during a visit to Austin, this place is a must.
Friend and I did a girl lunch – appetizers only. I can now say I’ve had them all!! My friend loves the Nuevo Diablos, and I couldn’t get enough of the blue cornbread. We definitely got too much, but no regrets for leaving some behind because it was a real treat!

Had the stone ground blue cornbread for appetizer with honey butter it was outstanding. Wife had the blackberry burger and loved it. I had the pork belly tacos and they were mouth watering good. Watermelon margarita was super tasty.

Overall not a bad place at all to go eat and hang out. When my wife and I went there was nobody there. We always try to between lunch and dinner. That in-between time is good. Our server was amazing and friendly. Took great care of us. I ordered a salad which was perfect. I ordered a burger and it really was good. Haven’t had one like that in a while. The only thing I would have changed was a different bun. The bun was too sweet for me. I couldn’t finish it and ate the patty separately. I would definitely come back here. Priced reasonably.

I live a block away from Chisos Grill and have dined there about half a dozen times in the past two years. Every time has been a pleasant experience. We stopped by for dinner a week ago and everything was great. I usually order a burger but decided to try the rib eye steak for the first time. The steak was thick, juicy, tasty and cooked to perfection. We ate at the bar the the service was quick and courteous. The atmosphere was pleasant and the prices were reasonable. Everything I look for in a restaurant.

This place was amazing! Beautiful atmosphere, wonderful plentiful food. Especially the gluten free options and marked on the menu. Super sweet staff lady who helped us with my gluten allergy! And yummy food and dessert! Our favorite was the sweet pork queso!

I have eaten here 2 times recently about a week and a half apart. This grill has an excellent kitchen with high quality food and great dishes. The Blue Cornbread is amazing I am an extreme critic of cornbread and how it should taste, this is top notch stuff. I paired it with a Southwest Salad.
My second visit found the best shrimp tacos ever, the Firecracker Tacos are the bomb! I paired it with the Citrus Ceviche which was perfect. The drink selections here are great and they have a super strong array of beers that fit my palette, on tap and in bottles or cans. Awesome place for great quality food!

Wonderful place for a beautiful date night. We loved the vibe. Our waiter was so friendly and he had good sense of humor too. I ordered the southwest black bean burger which I am assuming was vegan because it didn’t have cheese. My husband ordered the pecan crusted chicken. Both dishes were yummy. We loved every bit of it. They also substitute regular fries for sweet potato fries. They also have gluten free buns. Food was really good and we will definitely bring our friends here.

The “Andy Dick lookalike” did a poor job all around. Even charged a 20% gratuity for our table when we asked for individual checks at lunch. We work in the galleria and won’t be coming back.

We’ve visited Chisos Grill several times in the past. Lately they’re really talking to our taste buds. Salads are wonderful. The pork chop is incredible and appetizers are chef’s kiss. Every time we have visited, the staff is very professional and familiar with menu choices. Recently, Kylie and Adam have waited on us and they have been amazing. Thank you Chisos Grill for enjoyable dinners and for being apart of our community.

This place is a definite must try. The service was superb! The food was cooked to order and tasted great. The Pulled Pork Queso is an excellent way to get your meal started. The Shrimp Tacos were good too. They are located just steps from plenty of parking. They also have a pet friendly patio area!
