This past Sunday around 9:30, my husband, in-laws, and I decided to try Chirps for the first time—and it will definitely not be our last visit! We were greeted warmly and seated right away. Our server, William, was friendly and attentive, starting us off with coffee and a refreshing pineapple mimosa.
We began with powdered sugar beignets—light, sweet, and absolutely delicious. For entrées:
• My husband ordered the Scrambler with bacon and potatoes. The flavors were great, though the potatoes tasted like frozen fried potatoes and could’ve used a touch more salt.
• My father-in-law enjoyed the Full Breakfast with pecan waffles, which was a definite hit.
• My mother-in-law and I both went for the California Benedict—fresh spinach, juicy tomato, and her version topped with crumbled bacon, while I added smoked salmon. The hollandaise sauce was rich and flavorful, and the eggs were perfectly poached. Both came with a side of loaded Gouda grits, which were creamy, cheesy, and perfect.
The prices were very reasonable, the service was excellent, and the food was outstanding overall. We’re already planning many return visits!

His personality and knowledge of the menu.. to his Halloween custom was perfect.
The all Meat omelet was excellent.. and worth the price.
We will visit again when we return to Pensacola. ( Short trip from Homewood , Alabama.)

On March 1, 2025, my wife and I stopped into Chirps in Gulf Breeze around 10 a.m. while out running errands. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by a very kind hostess and seated immediately. Our waitress was quick to bring our drinks, setting a friendly and efficient tone for the meal.
I ordered the meat omelette and opted to substitute the toast for a honey swirl pancake (with a small upcharge). The omelette was nothing short of fantastic — the eggs were exceptionally fluffy, and it was generously packed with a savory combination of meats and melted cheese. The honey swirl pancake was a treat all its own, served with whipped butter, maple syrup, and a dusting of powdered sugar. The slight crisp on the surface gave way to a soft, flavorful bite reminiscent of a perfect fusion between a pancake, Cinnabon, and funnel cake. Absolutely worth it.
My wife ordered the Day Scrambler, and I have to admit — I may have fallen for her dish even more than my own. The eggs were possibly the fluffiest I’ve ever tasted. While my wife felt there were a few too many onions, as a self-proclaimed onion enthusiast, I thought it was heaven. In fact, I happily enjoyed the extra bites she didn’t want.
From start to finish, the service, food, and atmosphere were delightful. Chirps offers a welcoming environment and memorable breakfast dishes that we would gladly return for — and we certainly recommend it to anyone in the area.

Wow, what a great place ! service prompt our waitress phenomenal attentive With a smile (Bennie) Now to the food.. Awesome portions , Great taste… The chicken salad croissant sandwich very tasty and definitely not out of a tub !! homemade… And for the eggs benedict wonderful the Hollandaise sauce isn’t too overpowering and has just the right taste… They have a variety of items to choose from including avocado toast…

First off, Tiffany was a great waitress, kept up with us in case we needed refills, checked up when we were ready to order, and once we were ready for the check. Thanks Tiffany.
Second, meals were decent enough, came well made though a bit on the higher end of price for breakfast. Smoke salmon tasted well enough and avocado had a good smear. At least was priced better than the seafood places around to ease the wallet pain!

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I also want to give a special shoutout to Alyssa—she did a super fantastic job taking care of us, and it was only her first day! She was attentive, kind, and made sure everything was perfect. Great service all around. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience on our first visit, and we will definitely be back! We both had the traditional breakfast; our eggs were cooked perfectly as ordered and the pancakes were absolutely delicious. Some of the best we have had in the area! Our server was polite and attentive. We were pleasantly surprised at how incredible the beignets were, the croissant dough makes a big difference in the best way. My only disappointment was the lack of coffee drink options as they were limited to either hot or iced coffee.

Their croissant beignets are my new favorite beignets, especially when they’re fresh from the oven! Their side of potatoes are also some of the best around with the seasoning they have on them! Great eggs benedict as well, and their menu has too many great options to choose from
