The most important thing to know about Chips ’N Ales is right in the title: We have chips and we have ale. But don’t let the name fool you–this restaurant goes way beyond just French fries and ice-cold brews. Chips ’N Ales offers that quintessentially British pub feel, but you don’t have to venture across the Atlantic for it. This homey tavern offers traditionally British and Irish cuisine, with a slight mix of America fan favorites. Enjoy a variety of beer-battered seafood, hand-cut fries, fish sandwiches and more. Just like with any old-fashioned pub, Chips ’N Ales offers a warm and friendly environment with good food and cold, tasty beer. Stop into Chips ’N Ales and stay awhile.

The food was absolutely great but it always is.
Everyone there was so polite and friendly.
We will continue to eat here.
Great food and great atmosphere!
I added four (4) pieces of shrimp. They were pretty alright
Tried the combo platter and the shrimp are so good. Fish and chicken in 2nd place. Slaw is bringing up the rear this time. Wifey didn’t love as much.
While we stood there to pay, I looked behind us and noticed a swarm of people in line. Like this place really fills up fast. The restaurant closes at midnight, so maybe everyone decided to come before closing.
The staff wasn’t overly friendly, and almost all of them looked tired. Maybe because it was 11pm?
We paid for our food and sat down. Our food was on our table within 7 minutes or less. My Irish nachos came with jalapeños, sour cream, and cheese. I had them remove the bacon, as I don’t eat meat. The fries were pretty good, not too greasy, however, the fries at the bottom of the basket were just a little over cooked. So, I didn’t eat those.
They don’t have options here for Veg Heads, other than fries. Unless you order the chicken, tender salad and have them remove the chicken.
Overall, I thought the atmosphere was nice, and the fries were tasty.
