Female bartender was rude. She snapped at me for sitting in a spot that was “taken” but there was no drink there and the seat looked unoccupied. I moved to a different spot. 10 minutes later someone else walked in and sat in the seat I was told to move from. Bartender was friendly with them but maintained being rude to me.

Went there for the first time when taking my friend to my Family’ Cabin. At first the bartender was nice but then she got rude as soon as we told her we were visiting from Milwaukee. She acted like she was better than us because she moved from Milwaukee to Wausaukee. Since the bar was dog friendly, we brought our dogs in. My friend’s dog WALKED up to another dog there, just to say ‘Hi”, and THAT DOG SNAPPED AT HER. The bartender, without asking what happened, SNAPPED AT ME saying “if that happens again you’ll have to leave!” EVEN THOUGH OUR DOGS DID NOTHING. My dog was sitting by my side as she’s a service dog, just resting there. Not even involved. My friend’s dog DID NOTHING AGGRESSIVE. When the OTHER DOG SNAPPED, she simply BACKED UP and WALKED AWAY. One of the people there told us not to worry, as she was leaving in a bit and someone else was coming in. But the the bartender told the next bartender who entered after that she gave us a warning for OUR DOGS BEING AGGRESSIVE and if it happens again, we have to leave. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! The bartender also WHISPERED to other people there about how OUR DOGS WERE OUT OF CONTROL. As I said, My dog was just sitting there. She’s a service dog. My friend’s dog was playing with another dog on the end of the bar and they were not making a mess or anything and SHE SAID NOTHING about the other dog my friend’s dog was playing with. I have all of this on video too as I was recording the other dogs playing with my friend’s dog. Never going there again. We felt like we were being treated like criminals by her just because we were from Milwaukee. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BAR!
After she left, my friend paid her tab and she said the guy who came in once the bartender left was very rude to her while paying and looked at her with disgust. I did not see this as I took my dog and her dog to the car. We left due to the poor service and BULLSHIT accusations against our dogs. According to my friend, while she was waiting 10 minutes to pay, the female bartender ALSO WHISPERED to A LADY IN THE CORNER, before she left “We cannot control who comes in here as it’s summer. So we kinda HAVE TO let them in” Basically she said, if it wasn’t summer she would not even let us enter the bar. FOR NO REASON! HORRIBLE BARTENDERS!

she answered fine with bar name… cool… but when I asked a question I get rude answer n hung up on… wanted to come check it out but if bar tender that bad on phone I don’t want to go into a place where a question could bother or upset the person serving my drinks or food..

My friend and I stopped in for a quick lunch on New Year’s Eve late morning, and we were both impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and the delicious food. The bartender was a super friendly lady and the big fish sandwich was amazing! We also enjoyed the pickle chips, duck wonton, burger, and the best fries ever!

My mom likes this place, they could be more welcoming about having other races in the bar though. Staff and patrons, both. Native pride here all day, even when walking into an establishment that seems less than pleased to see us!
