We were given 3 free drinks by one guy employee who didn’t make much eye contact or say much, but we did appreciate his effort. One of the lady staff was very apologetic & went out of her way to make lemonade & refill the toilet paper, etc. after being put down for a burrito fold/roll gone wrong!
We appreciated her very much & give her 5 stars! The other staff were unprofessional & not very kind to other staff members or customers & after we were told it would be 5 minutes for grilled veggies another staff wagged his finger no in dismay to our serving staff, as though they just didn’t want to cook more at that moment! When another customer came in they only said they were out of cheese!
The service needs some major mentorship & help at this location! Thank you to the staff who was kind & professional! Your actions will attract much kindness in return!
I used to be able to get around the issue by ordering in and just getting “To-go”. Now it doesn’t matter. Double meat? Doesn’t matter. It’s two tablespoons of meat, double or not, sadly sitting on a measly pile of lettuce (not to mention they’ll just be “out” of meat, so I cant get more anyway). The ONLY thing they can’t skimp on this the protein bowl, cause it’s literally just a pre sized bowl filled with chicken. Chipotle used to be one of the only places I could eat out, but I’m so tired of having to fight to have a normal portion size that matches the price I pay for it. This used to be my go-to pregnancy stop. I’m an unhappy preggo mama that’s hungry an hour after my meal on every occasion (and I’ve gone at least 5 times in the last 2 months). This location is awful and I will not be going back.
From my perspective, I saw Aubrey engage in behavior that appeared blatantly unsanitary. It looked as though she picked up a piece of chicken with her bare hand, took a bite directly from it, and then placed what remained back into the pan being used for customers. Even if there was some kind of explanation behind this, the appearance alone was shocking and made me seriously question the food-handling practices at this location. No customer should ever have to witness something that even resembles contamination of the food being served.
Unfortunately, this was not the only troubling issue. Throughout my visit, Aubrey was loudly roughhousing and joking with another crew member. The volume, tone, and content of their conversation came across as highly unprofessional and inappropriate for a workplace—especially one where customers are trying to eat. Instead of demonstrating leadership, it felt like she was actively contributing to an environment of chaos and immaturity. The restaurant atmosphere seemed completely unsupervised, and it reflected poorly on the standards I believe Chipotle aims to uphold.
I left the restaurant feeling uncomfortable, disappointed, and frankly disturbed that this type of conduct was coming from the manager on duty—someone who is supposed to set the example for the rest of the staff. I have always trusted Chipotle to maintain high expectations when it comes to cleanliness, food safety, and professionalism, but this experience made me question whether those values are being enforced at this location.
I strongly urge corporate to investigate this situation thoroughly. Customers should never be put in a position where they feel uncertain about the safety of their food or the competence of the staff preparing it. I hope this complaint is taken seriously, because the behavior I witnessed was far outside the realm of acceptable conduct in any professional restaurant environment.
