We tried this location for the first time. We’ve been to the Dana Dr location before, and in chico as well. This one gave us tough grisly meat, both me and my wife. I had steak and she had chicken. Neither of us enjoyed it. Probably won’t be back.

I walked in store to order, I was greeted by 3 different workers in the span of 1 min! It was wonderful. I went up to the counter to order and the lady who walked up from the back already had an attitude. I asked for rice and beans in my taco and she looked up at me and said “really?” Chiplote is all
about customizing and making it your own! I’ve never felt more judged. I asked for a side of sour cream and she rolled her eyes. The cashier was amazing 10/10! The lady who was making my food was probably some of the worst service and the stinkiest attitude ever! She must have been having a bad day… Unfortunate for her coworkers who have to deal with her all day. I will always love the food here, I hope she has a better day & doesn’t take it out on others. 1/23/26 at 15:30-16:00.

We tried this location when it first opened and it was fantastic. Food was great and portion sizes were much better than the other Redding location. Today, I ordered for pickup and the food was a night and day difference. I ordered a burrito and paid extra for a double portion of steak as I like a pretty bare burrito, and this is what I received. I also ordered a watermelon limeade, and when my husband went to pick it up the person asked him what he wanted to drink instead of following the directions on the order, and gave him a pibb instead as I didn’t repeat the exact order to him because the employees should have had it. My husband’s burrito was also pretty pathetic looking as far meat goes. We are done spending money at Chipotle.

I’ve had the Al Pastor at several different Chipotle locations, but this store really nailed it! The flavor was so special and perfectly balanced. Easily the best experience I’ve had with this menu item. I love it, keep up the great work!

Give you the smallest portions of food and will charge you and argue with you if you ask for a more reasonable portion of food always out of guacamole food is less then half decent. Really need to stop coming to this place but girlfriend always insists it’ll be better the next and the next time. By far the worse chipotle in NorCal

I got a burrito and 2 bowls, the order was completely wrong, the service was horrible. The lady seemed to be rushing me through and annoyed that I forgot to add fajita veggies. Got home and was astounded at what I received, missing rice, lettuce, mixed up what was wanted. Just all around a horrible experience, I love Chipotle but not this one.

Solid location, portion, staffs. Ordered in person 25 minutes before closing, only had run out of grilled veggies and chips. Can’t speak to the negative reviews but solid location in my opinion, definitely have seen worse.

I usually have a good experience at this Chipotle, but yesterday wasn’t great. It wasn’t busy inside at all but the staff seemed really focused on mobile orders. My burrito bowl order kept getting passed between a few workers, and they mixed it up with the people in front of and behind me. They also gave me the wrong salsa, which didn’t bother me too much, but when I went to pay, I noticed they were charging me for mine and someone else’s order. I’m glad I caught it, but they really need to slow down and double-check orders.

*update*. I’ve tried this chipotle location twice since writing first review. Both times have been 100% better. I believe they might actually be reading these reviews. Experience these times have been great. Portions are super improved, good amount of guac and sour cream: And they even said “does this look ok? At the end”

Staff smiled twice. No conversation but it’s loud in there and sometimes I don’t like conversation anyway.

All in all, if this service continues— I will be returning here frequently. Location is so convenient.

I usually love chipotle, eat it once a week usually, I order the same thing at all locations. I was so excited for this new location to open up right next to my house! How wonderful, I thought.

I now drive an extra 7 minutes to go to the normal location on hilltop. That should say enough.

I get about half the food in my burrito bowl than normal, with the most minimal amount of sour cream and guacamole I’ve ever seen. I offer the double chicken and steak. I pay double, I have even said, “I’m ok with paying more” and they DO charge me the double price… but the serving is the same as a normal Chipotle’s standard serving.

Normally my bowl touches the tin foil when they close the lid. At this location it barely gets to the tip of the cardboard.

Some team members are AMAZING and seem friendly and nice and they smile. But others always seem to be in a bad mood: and I get it. I have bad days too… and I hate to complain about it, but it brings me down. Is there a culture problem? A management problem? What’s going on.

I would love to update if things improve. Maybe a new location has some growing pains. But for now I’ll drive the short distance to the old location.

Ordered, for delivery, a steak burrito, with extra steak. First bite in, was a large piece of fat. In total, at least 25% of the steak was fatty or part grisly. We also ordered to large chips. One bag was fairly stale. The other,bag, not as stale.
