First time I came here an employee was eating over the food. He grabbed a scoop of chicken and threw it in his mouth while I was waiting to be served. I’m pretty sure that’s not sanitary. Second time I came here which was just now, I asked for steak and they told me I’d have to wait a few minutes. I was waiting and a manager came out and said we all had to leave because of a CO2 leak. Something is really off about this particular chipotle, I think it has something to do with how young everybody that works here is. The dot. Seem to be taking their jobs and service to others seriously. Get some older experienced mature managers, please.

Loving the convenience and accessibility of the new Chipotle in Cathedral City.
The staff is pleasant. The atmosphere is typical Chipotle. Food is on point, even when the hot & cold lines look like a burrito bomb exploded all over.
My only complaint is the discrepancy of the serving size from different employees. It vastly differs each time I’ve been to this Chipotle. Though who am I kidding, it happens at most Chipotle’s.
I will say that when i’ve asked for a little more of something, they’ve usually obliged.

I eat at chipotles 300 times a year. Usually palm desert or Palm Springs. This is 1st time at cathedral city. I was very disappointed. Maybe they need more time to get it right? The amount they gave me for a chicken/guac bowl was very light. Everything was cold. Even the beans. The chicken was dry and hard. Service was quick because I was only one in line and one other person eating there. I will try it again in a couple of weeks. Since it’s a new location maybe they need time to get up to standards?

Just opened this location in a shopping plaza that is also new and still being built out. The place was not busy and we were the only people in the restaurant! The staff was not attentive as we walked toward the counter it was as if we didn’t exist with no acknowledgment or eye contact! We ordered our food paid and looked around to see where we would sit since the place was empty we had the pick of the place and many of the tables were dirty ! The staff of about 6-7 that we saw just stood behind the counter doing nothing instead of cleaning the dirty tables or just moving around keeping things tardy and clean! The management should address these issues as this is not a place I would want to return to!

This is the worst Chipotle I’ve ever been to. I got a chicken burrito. The beans were not even cooked All the way, the chicken was hard. And the salsa was way too hot for my taste. Makes me not want to ever go to a Chipotle again.
